How To Easily Impress Girls! Become The Guy Every Woman Wants To Be Around

How To Easily Impress Girls! Become The Guy Every Woman Wants To Be Around

Are you the shy type, or the man who feels that he just doesn’t have it ‘in’ him to impress girls? Well, actually there’s really nothing to it! Impressing girls is just an art which can be learnt.

Be self confident. You can impress nobody if you think of yourself as a ‘nobody’. Build up your self-esteem and tell yourself that you are an attractive, self confident man who can impress anybody. You can do this by concentrating on your plus points, your special talents (everybody has some gift or talent!) or skills.

Stand out in a crowd. Don’t let yourself be submerged or lost in a crowd, especially if the girl you have your eye on belongs to that crowd. Make sure she notices you. You can do this by dressing well and looking smart, or even by your behavior which should always be a notch better than those around.

Have a sense of humor. Don’t look grumpy, depressed or burdened as though you have the weight of the world on your shoulders. No girl wants a guy around who has that kind of ‘baggage’! Smile, laugh (even if it is a joke directed at you!) and be open.

Be original. Don’t try to be someone else. You don’t have to be a John Travolta on the dance floor, or a Harrison Ford on a picnic! Girls can spot a phony anytime!

Be straightforward. Don’t be shy or hesitant to tell a girl what you like or don’t like. Being truthful and honest always pays. The girl will realize that you are being ‘you’ and will learn to trust you more.

Take care about your personal hygiene. Nobody likes a guy who always smells of sweat. A guy whose feet stink is a ‘put off’ even if he is a hunk! Take great care to see that your hair and body smells great!

So if you’re game, just try your hand that the above mentioned points and you will impress your girl.

Now listen carefully-

What you are about to discover something most men will never know when it comes to attracting women. This is one thing which is an absolute must know for every man out there. You are about to discover an ultimate secret weapon which will make women chase you around like crazy Even If You Are Bald, Fat Or Ugly!…..Trust me….You don’t want to miss this one. I strongly urge you to read everything on the next page because it might be the most important message you ever read - Click Here

US Senator Wants FTC to Look Into Facebook Privacy Practices

Last week we brought to your attention the fact that Facebook was starting to spend some time in Washington, DC talking to folks in the intelligence community as well as the FTC. Well, now after US Senator Charles “Chuck” Schumer’s action we can understand why Facebook would like to develop some friendships in high places.

The local ABC New York City affiliate ran this piece on the senator’s request. It’s interesting to see how the people who pay attention to local news are being “informed” about the online world especially when it comes to something they can get paranoid about like privacy. Schumer and most politicians want to play on the public’s fears so they can look like they are busy. What better place to make the public squirm than the idea that their private information is being spread across the Internet with no concern for wants and desires for that data. While it may not even be completely true it sure makes for good TV.

As with most actions of this type it is likely that the senator’s staff brought this to his attention and told him that it was a “hot” topic and he should get some press. While he is there for the “good of the people” he is there for publicity so those people will keep him in office. In other words, I wonder just how concerned this senator truly is or is he just trying to get out in front of this and give the appearance of being on top of the “latest and greatest’ concerns of his constituency. Don’t you love how the system works?

Anyway, Facebook obviously feels that if a US senator is going to call a press conference to announce his request for the FTC to examine Facebook’s privacy policies then they should have a say of their own. Here is Facebook’s response to the ABC report.

“We were surprised by Senator Schumer’s comments and look forward to sitting down with him and his staff to clarify. Facebook’s highest priority is to keep and build the trust of the more than 400 million people who visit our service every month. To do so, we’ve developed the most powerful tools of any major Internet company to give people control over what information they want to share, when they want to share it and with whom. Last week, we announced several new products and features designed to enhance personalization and promote social activity across the Web. None of these changes removed or reduced people’s control over their information and several offered even greater controls. For example, we announced a new tool to give users much greater ability to restrict the information they share with applications and third party websites. We introduced new ways for websites to let Facebook offer personalization without the need for any user information to be shared with the site itself. We also announced a small pilot program with three well-known and respected partners – Microsoft, Pandora and Yelp – to provide additional personalization on their sites, based on information that is already publicly available. These partners were carefully chosen, reviewed, and are contractually required to respect users’ privacy preferences. Additionally, they are required to provide an easy and prominent method for users to opt out directly from their website and delete user data if users choose do opt out. Facebook and its partner sites have also added new and easy controls to help users manage their experiences when they visit these sites. We think these programs will make surfing the web a smoother and more engaging experience for people who use Facebook while honoring the trust we’ve been given.”

Facebook wants to be the first to truly tie the social web together in a more cohesive fashion but it appears that this goal will not reached without clearing a few hurdles that are likely to be set Washington.

What’s your take on Washington’s interest in Facebook?

Google Places Wants To Help You?

Last week Google announced the name change from Google Maps to Google Places along with some changes to the local listing service that is so important to local search. At the end of the week Google also announced something that they are not real well known for: support. Here’s how the Google LatLong blog puts it:

With a new name comes a fresh support experience. The Google Places team wants to make sure that, as a business owner, your experience with Google Places is a good one, so we’ve taken some steps to expand and refine our support offerings.

Before we look at the details let’s make sure you don’t get too excited. Why do I say that? Well, there is no support option that allows you to talk (you know as in hearing a real voice of a Google employee) to anyone about your issues. As a result, I say that while Google claims to be “improving” its support experience it is really just doing the classic “putting lipstick on this pig” routine. Many may think that’s a harsh assessment but oftentimes the issues with Google Places listings really need customized answers and improved forums or FAQ’s are just not customized. As a result, I am playing the cynic and expecting that not circumstances will be addressed to the level necessary for Google Places listings.

Here is what Google is touting as improved support from their blog:

Google Places Help Center: Here you can learn more about managing your business listing on Google, new features and how to report problems. This includes a revamped user guide, support channels, and more.

Feedback for Google Places: Post your burning questions and awesome ideas to our new Google Moderator page. After you post, take a look at what other people are posting, and vote up the ideas you like the most. We’ll keep the page open until May 21, 2010, and then our team will review the top questions and record video responses that we’ll post in our Help Center.

Google Places Help Forum: Discuss with other users how to improve your listing, newly announced features, or issues you’re encountering. We have dedicated volunteers known as “Top Contributors” who can help answer your questions and discuss your ideas. Google Employees will also be monitoring the forum to facilitate discussions in this forum and provide assistance when needed.

Google Places Webinars: Sign up for our webinars to learn about a variety of topics ranging from “Adding a Listing” up to “Enhancing a Listing”. We’re excited about providing a learning environment that allows us to interact more closely with you, the business owner who all these tools are made for! If you can’t attend the webinars, don’t worry – we’ll post the videos on our YouTube Channel at youtube.com/googleplaces.

I have already taken in the first webinar and it is certainly Google Places 101. There were some tidbits here and there but generally it was a death by PowerPoint approach with no interaction. Ain’t that the Google way?

Google Wants to be Your Twitter App

It’s no secret that third-party apps and clients are popular for Twitter users. And it looks like they’re in for some major competition from Google. No the search giant isn’t building its own Twitter client—it’s just bringing you all the functionality you’d expect from one.

Last October, Google announced a real-time search deal with Twitter. Or, really, the stuck a few Twitter results into semi-relevant search results. They’ve added a scrolling update display, but research suggests real-time search isn’t useful to searchers. Just two days ago, Google announced Twitter replay to take a historical view of tweets. And within hours of that announcement, they added a Follow Finder to . . . well, help you find people to follow.

Google Follow Finder looks at the people you’re following and uses public social graph information to find other users who follow those same accounts, then recommend other people those users are following. They also find people with similar follower lists.

Google built Follow Finder on Twitter’s @anywhere framework, announced last month.

All right, we can all admit Google’s probably not going to be challenging any third party apps for daily usability any time soon. Their offerings remain an auxiliary anomaly. The replay feature aligns well with their search mission, but the Follow Finder is another foray deeper into social media, which could indicate that their focus on Twitter may be more than just employees’ 20% time.

What do you think? What will Google’s next Twitter feature be? Will they ever have enough features to compete with full-fledged third-party apps, or will their offerings always bee use-specific?

Yahoo Wants Local Display Dollars

Yahoo is the top display ad seller at this point in time. That may come as a surprise to many because Yahoo has had a rough go of staying on top of anything lately. Now they are coming off a rough transition year and the tumult of the Microhoo deal is behind them (from a public perspective at least) so Yahoo needs to get in gear.

One of the methods it will be using to keep its top spot in the display ad sales category is to do what everyone seems to figuring out as of late: go local. Forbes.com tells some more

National advertisers spend more than $120 billion on advertising in local markets and Yahoo wants it.

This year the Sunnyvale, Calif., company’s sales reps are going after big companies with outlets that advertise in local newspapers and on regional radio stations and Web sites. These marketers include Dunkin’ Donuts, Burger King, Pizza Hut, State Farm Insurance and Home Depot. The list goes on and Yahoo intends to call every advertiser on it, offering them the opportunity to target regionally and reach millions of people online.

Granted, when you hear about a sales rep charge to make inroads into a hot market you can only hope that you aren’t on the other end of one of those calls. Despite that though, savvy local advertisers may see the value of Yahoo’s local display offering all by themselves (how about that idea?!) and can take advantage of the traffic that Yahoo’s site generates.

Hearing this kind of focus is being put into what Yahoo is actually good at is a great change of pace from the search “news” that still trickles out of Sunnyvale from time to time. In my opinion, Yahoo as a search entity is pretty much dead. They are a content company that provides a search option that will be run by another company who may or may not be a search company themselves. From a business perspective this push for display dominance makes sense especially since Google is flexing its muscles in this area as well.

Yahoo’s focus on local markets comes as Google is diving into the display world to grow beyond its core search business. Having launched a new ad exchange system similar to ones the stock market uses, Google is heating up the competition, adding more clients to its growing roster of display advertisers. Google is also going after some of the same customers–the burger joints and home-improvement centers–as Yahoo, pitching similar opportunities to reach TV-sized audiences without TV prices. It makes for a big battle.

With location based offerings becoming more prominent in the marketplace (at least by the social media industry types….The rest of the world? We’ll see.) and efforts like AOL’s Patch.com to generate local content for businesses to place ads around this space is getting the attention it likely deserves.

Most of our lives occur on some local level. Even if you live in a big metro area you do much of your regular life in close proximity to your home. Local is for everyone. Of course, it is also different for everyone so how this market plays out over time will be interesting as marketers try to find more ways to reach the consumer closer to home when they are closer to buying.

Your thoughts on local display advertising through large publishers?

What Google Wants to Get Rid of are the Sites That Convert Poor for the Advertisers?

You probably heard or read it somewhere on the internet. Google is going to ban publishers that practice Adsense arbitrage…At least that’s what the rumor tells us. Nothing could be further from the truth.                                                                                      For more details go to: www.adsense-income-exposed.com would you believe a rumor that tells you that Google is going to ban the publishers that practice Adsense Arbitrage? Well, then I suppose you don’t agree with me that Google would commit suicide. After all, the Ad word/Adsense system that Google uses is arbitrage.
What Google wants to get rid of are the sites that convert poor for the advertisers. Image yourself paying dollars per click to get visitors to your site and you see your ad on one of those crappy ‘Made for Adsense’ websites. Chances are that you want to take your ads of those sites right away. There’s no quality content on those sites that gives the searcher the information he or she is looking for Google is going after publishers that return bad ROI for the advertiser. Google has never said that they are going after Adsense Arbitrage publishers.
Suppose you use an Ad words campaign to send traffic to your website With Adsense ads. If that website has quality content on it and is relevant to what the searcher has typed in the search bar, then you are doing exactly what Google wants you to do. Give relevant quality information to the searcher. You are NOT violating Google’s TOS.
The Quality Score of your Ad words campaign will improve and as a result you will pay less CPC (Cost per Click) and your ad will be displayed higher in the Sponsored Links.
What would be the result if you optimize your website to a quality website? Besides the traffic you get from your advertising campaign, Google will love to index a website like that. They need quality information for the searchers.
Affiliate marketers using PPC advertising are practicing arbitrage, because they often invest few cents to earn dollar commissions. Of course, in this case the amount of CPC that they pay depends on what niche they advertise in. And very often the searcher ends up on a landing page with a product review. For help visit: www.instant-adsense-dollars.com If that review is relevant to what the searcher searches for, the advertiser and affiliate is doing exactly what Google wants. Again, this will increase the quality score of the Ad words campaign.
Conclusion: Adsense Arbitrage is not a ‘bad’ thing that will get you banned from Google Adsense. On the other hand, building crappy websites, such as the ‘Made For Adsense sites’, and sending traffic from a Google Ad words account to those sites is not recommended anymore. A logical thought is that Google will never index those sites and will let the advertiser pay high CPC Inc case of arbitrage.

Yahoo offers a chance for any company to raise their traffic by using their services.

With more people being seeing your site, there will be more visitors to your site given the chance to see your site as well as your offerings.

Even with a small increase in the percentage of successful sales, combined with a high visitors volume this could be a substantially enlarged sales amount for your company.

Getting a consistently increased flow of site visitors is every business’s goal.

Many techniques are devised and used to guarantee that there would be more visitors to increase the number of clients that you have.

These techniques can even make potential visitors aware of the existence of your service and service. Web site visitors are the life blood of your Internet based business since they are your potential customers.
