Turn Knowledge Into Sales: Discover Hidden Web-profits
Your company’s collective knowledge and know-how is its greatest asset not the products or services you offer; products and services are merely the means to implement your expertise. Your capacity to grow and prosper is dependent on your ability to effectively present your know-how in creative, informative, entertaining, understandable, and above all memorable ways.
To excite, inform, and motivate people by showing them how to get the most out of what you sell is where your profit potential lies. The way you present your expertise is how you will be remembered; it is the basis of the experience each client has when dealing with your company, and that experience is what will make or break you. The Web-Experience Factor
There is plenty of excellent information around about website design, information architecture, search engine optimization, and even usability, but few Web-business articles deal with the experience factor. No matter how attractive, user friendly, or SEO perfect your website is, you are never going to convert visitors into a customers if they are turned-off by the experience you offer.
By providing your expertise and know-how with style and flair, you are telling visitors that you are prepared to help them maximize the benefits your product or service potentially delivers – a value-added benefit your competitors will find hard to counteract.
When so many products and services on the market are generic, interchangeable or widely available brands, the only thing that will differentiate you from everyone else is the knowledge and expertise you offer as a value-added perk. The Paradox of Choice
‘The Paradox of Choice’ is a term coined by Swarthmore College Professor, Barry Schwartz, in a book by the same name. Everyone likes choice, this is obvious, and no one likes to feel they have no options. But when options become overwhelming, the ability to make a purchase decision is hindered. Too many choices generate a diminishing marginal utility and actually hinder conversion.
When you visit a website that offers a large quantity of similar products that serve the same basic purpose (cell phones, cameras, computers, televisions, guitars or just about anything else) each with a list of options and features that seem interchangeable and at the same time incompatible, the result is confusion and buying-paralysis. This is where your knowledge and expertise comes in.
If you invest in a video and/or audio presentation that explains who would benefit from each product and why one product is more appropriate for one customer than another, you are not just delivering a sales pitch, you are providing a welcome service that helps your visitor decide what is best for him or her. The result is a happier, more satisfied, better-informed customer.
Even more importantly, by helping your client decide what is the best purchase option, you are cementing your relationship with that customer, and when the time comes for an upgrade, replacement, or add-on, you will be the ‘go-to’ company, and not your competitor who offers nothing more than an online flee market. How To Monetarize Knowledge
Depending on the nature of your business, you can market your expertise directly through the sale of online videos, DVDs, audio-casts, and white papers.
As an alternative, you can use your knowledge as an indirect sales tool. By providing professionally produced media at no cost, you enhance your reputation and attract interest in your company. For example, we provide over fifty articles, and dozens of videos on our site, explaining how best to use video and audio on the Web in order to brand Web-businesses and maximize profits.
A kind of hybrid solution would be to provide your video presentations at no-charge, but allow them to be monetarized by including a sponsor’s ad at the beginning or end; or you can distribute them through one of the increasing number of video directories, or distribution networks that will add an advertising message to your content, and pay you for the privilege. How To Turn Advertising Into Content
The idea of turning advertising into content leaves some people with a bad taste. Television commercials are a distinct form of communication separate from the programs you watch, and display ads in magazines and newspapers are separate and distinct from the editorial.
But now you have movies, where ad placement has become a significant force in funding and revenue creation for the producers. Are you watching a movie intended to entertain, or a two-hour advertisement for the latest cars, computers, and sports drink? One wonders if the latest blockbuster is merely a fifty million dollar ad for the upcoming Christmas toy-buying season?
The melding of advertising and content is already here; it’s just a case of doing it honestly and creatively, making it worth watching. The Apple iPod commercials are basically sponsored music videos and are more entertaining and memorable than many hour-long programs, and they do it without any sales pitch. Memorable Web Experiences Require Memorable Content
Web-content should grab your attention, be informative, instructive, interesting, entertaining, memorable, and even stimulating. It doesn’t necessarily have to be all these things but it has to provide something more than just a sales pitch.
The actual material being presented is only part of the experience; it’s the presentation of the material that makes it worth retaining. How you deliver content is a long-term marketing and branding strategy.
Most advertising tends to be a short-term tactic demanding continuous promotion with short-term gains; it is most often heavy-handed and hype-laden, tending to exaggerate claims, disrupt attention, and irritate the audience: an approach that often leads to a quick exit from a website, even when that website contains exactly what the visitor is looking for.
Sales pitches produce a natural resistance, while knowledge-based content and expert advice creates natural curiosity and confidence in the provider.
Web-video delivers information and subtext with nuance and meaning, as well as emotional and rational justification. Professionally produced video content communicates your expertise and your willingness to maximize your client’s return from purchasing your product or service, and that will make you the market leader.

Internet Marketing Blog For The Beginer – Turn Your Blog Into Dollars
In today’s internet marketing environment having an Internet marketing blog is not just nice to have its becoming essential. More folk are reading Blogs and they offer great opportunities to promote your products. In addition if your blog becomes popular you can create a good passive revenue thru the ads that you carry.
Many net Marketers make the error of thinking that creating a successful Internet Marketing blog is one of the simplest tasks out there and they couldn’t be more wrong! A successful web Marketer has to do more than just set up a blog page to chat about their products. You need to focus on 3 essential building blocks to have a successful Internet Marketing blog. A style which reflects the rest of your online business or at the very least conveys your professionalism is important. Many blogging software programs will help you out with the style of your blog. You can go thru the templates to choose which colors you like best for the layout. Experiment with the layouts to see which templates look the best on the PC screen and which most readily match the remainder of your internet marketing sites. You can even hire a professional to do the job for you if you want. The more professional your blog looks, the more seriously your readers and future customers will take your posts.
If you fill your blog with adverts and have no content for readers, they will be distracted and not visit your internet site again. This is a vital rule to recollect. You should not overwhelm you readers with ads. Choosing the right type of advertising program is part of it too.
the most significant building block of a great net Marketing blog is dedication. You have to be willing to be dedicated to your blog. You’ve got to put in the resources to get good results. It can mask the indisputable fact that you’re a amateur and permit you to form a profit manufacturing and functional Internet Marketing blog. Regardless of how little experience you have easy dedication can take you a long way and you are learning all the time whilst building up your web marketing activity. You can have a great net Marketing blog so long as you take the time to commit to your latest web marketing project.
While many thought blogging was a transient trend, it’s now clear that blogging is a practice that is here for good as a tough Web 2.0 marketing and traffic-generation toolset – and marketers are definitely profiting from their blogging efforts. Blogs are particularly interesting to Internet marketers, for a spread of reasons.
First, installing and operating an Internet marketing blog is very simple. For popular blog software, such as WordPress, there are countless templates available all over the web to help you make your blog fascinating. And most professional hosting sites offer just about instant WordPress installation through Fantastico in your cPanel options.
You can blog even if you don’t have your own website, by using a hosted blog such as that found at Blogger. However [*COMMA] you need to ideally set your blog up on its own domain, with a professional site name and webhosting.
When you add a blog post to your blog, simply include a link or two to your main website that your blog applies to – over time link to both the homepage and at least a few of the main interior pages of the site. This adds inbound links for your internet site, and may help to raise your rankings in the search engines. Be certain your blog template includes an appropriate bots meta-tag or employ a ‘Do Follow’ blog add on though, or you could be wasting your time.
You can’t delight the complete market, and that isn’t what you are making an attempt to do anyway.
Or an internet marketer targeting the golfing niche, as another example, could have one blog that discusses golf swings and the way to improve them, one on golfing equipment, and a third that debates and rates golf courses around the world .
Always remember that the more firmly targeted the Internet marketing blog, the tighter the targeting of the traffic it pulls – and highly-targeted traffic is the very stuff of your sales process and list-building on the web.
that same example shows how easily blogging can benefit affiliate marketers as well – each of those three blogs might send traffic to two or three links each, firmly aimed at that blog’s subject material. Yes, all three deal with golf, but by handling it correctly you might be tightly targeting 6 or 9 different affiliate opportunities in the golf industry on the web.
The more you update it, the more popular it can become in the blog directories and search engines. Over time, you should be in a position to build a good readership, and you will make sales to those folks as time goes on.
Of all of the Web 2.0 strategies open to marketers, the blend of simplicity of use, low or no cost, and potential returns available makes blogging essential tool for Internet marketing, and it’s especially well-suited to those just entering the field. In fact, we’re seeing more fledgling net marketers starting with, and infrequently staying solely with, blogging instead of conventional site building. Get YOUR Internet marketing blog going today!

Using Google Adwords and Adsense to Turn a Profit
Google Adsense is probably one of the easiest ways to make money from your website. It is easy to set up and implement on your site with very little difficulty. To explain Adsense I will explain Adwords first which will make it a lot easier to figure out. The Adwords program is a Pay per click program (PPC) that allows website owners to pay for traffic to come to their sites. The ads that you are running show up on Google search results as “featured listings” on the right hand side of result pages. The other place where the ads show are on other related websites to yours, called “content pages”. The cost for placing your ads is determined on the popularity of the keywords you choose. If there is you, and one other person, and they are willing to pay more for that keyword then you are, then they will get a higher position in the results pages as well as not be on the more popular content pages. Every keyword is different so the key is when you are setting up a campaign is to pick very exact and refined keywords for example instead of using “cat” you would use “Mexican short haired cat”. This way there is less competition for the keywords. Now to explain Adsense. Remember above where I talked about those content pages…..? well thats that Adsense program. Anyone with a website can sign up and put ad blocks on their site…. why you say?…. well everytime someone clicks one of those links you get paid a percentage of the ad costs. Ok…… lets slow down….. Someone pays Google to have there ad on the results page and related pages to theirs and your site is the same topic.. so Google will give to a piece of the pie. The ads that are shown on the Adsense ad blocks are geared towards the content of each individual page so if a part of your site is about cats then the ads will be about cats if another part is about dogs the ads change to dogs. You can help Google figure out what your site is about by adding keywords into your site meta tags. So heres how you put the two together…. You need to start with a topic in your head… and maybe do a little research there are sites like Rumler that will give you a list of the top paying Adsense keywords. It just so happens that anything to do with credit or bad credit I should say have high payouts when someone clicks an ad on your site. Were not going to worry about content right now. Now create a site with multiple headings, in the case with credit maybe one with “bad credit loans” one with “payday loans” and another with “consolidation loans”. When designing each individual page in the meta tags copy and paste the title of the page over and over in the keyword section so for example in the meta tags of the payday loans section it would say “payday loans” like 10 times. This will gear the ads towards the high payout keywords. Next will be content. There are sites out there that will give you a scrpit and provide you with dynamic content that changes everyday and will save you a lot of pain. The idea behind this is that you want people to come back to your site so they will click on links!! and you can make money!! Sites like www.yellowbrix.com is an example of a site that can supply the content. Ok, now for the ads on the page…. DON’T GO CRAZY the more ads on the page doesn’t mean more money but a nice leaderbar on the top and a couple blocks down the side is just fine…… I have clued in that the more ads on your page the less money advertisers will pay!! Now that the site is built you have a few headings up top maybe a nice logo. You have dynamic content and a “few” Adsense blocks on each page we have to go back to Adwords. The key here is to find keywords that are of the same topic as your site but aren’t those high paying/high cost keywords…. So direct the phrases of keywords to specific areas… or specific people to keep the cost of your Adwords campaign down. See where i’m going with this?????? You want to pay less money for people going to your site then what your going to get paid when they click on your ads!! Not everyone will click an ad so keep your max bid down below $.10!! On one of my sites I was earning $.48 per click and I was only paying out $.08….. Thats a $.40 profit…. If you get 10000 clicks that month you will make $400!!! That might not seem like much but as easy as that site was to make… why not make 4 more like it? Then your talking $1600 a month!!

How to Turn Your Internet Marketing Idea Into Reality
Everyone has a moneymaking idea at some point of their lives, and it can either be a dozy or just a passing wind blowing a fantastic but temporal cloud across your face. But I think that most of us don’t have the guts or the telemetry to just dive in and try it out. Hindering factors like cost and ridicule play a large part in our closet dealings and sand castle building. The internet is slightly different – its ambiguity, its non prejudicial nature and its ease of entry has given people more boost to try out their ideas; and this is more applicable to an internet marketing idea than anything else. The internet is a beautiful thing you can use it to its full effect – how to turn your internet marketing idea into reality.
Marketing is a tricky business but the internet is about as flexible as you can get. Newer and more innovative methods of viral, guerrilla and standard marketing are being discovered each and everyday from new technologies or just by looking at older methods at a slightly different angle. If you have an idea and it isn’t going to mean a trip to a quantum physics library, then by all means try it out. But there are some factors you must take into consideration.
Firstly, is there a market behind that idea? And how targeted is the marketing method in reaching the audience that would be more likely to buy into your product and service. I mean a way to get the attention of millions of people is fantastic, but it is utterly useless if only a handful would be interested in the product itself. Be sure that the method of your marketing will get a highly targeted output.
In fact, you can design a product that might excite a market you have identified. Study purchasing behaviours and what sells on the net, especially the growing trends in purchasing intangibles. Your internet marketing idea would be worth more than its weight in gold if you can design and customize a product.
Turning the internet marketing idea into a reality is simply a combination of knowing how to deliver your message to the internet and how to leverage on all the channels available to get yourself notices. Also feasibility is also an issue here; your dreams sometimes don’t become a reality at the flip of the coin. There is a lot of trial and error online but the important thing is that the internet can be quite forgiving at times. If one method doesn’t work, relook at it from all angles and ask yourself as a consumer, why you wouldn’t respond to it.
I think the most important thing anyone needs is hard work and a bit of advice. Don’t worry and don’t be shy to share a few things and learn a few more on the side, you will see a greater and smoother transition from hope to profits. There are many internet marketing gurus out there, and they are there for a reason. Don’t be afraid to tap on their shoulder and ask them how to turn your internet marketing idea into reality.

Turn Marketing Upside Down – Online
The Internet turns traditional marketing on its head. If you think in terms of physical business vs. virtual business, you get a far bigger bang for your buck on the Internet. But it’s not just vendors who are obtaining sales on the Internet. Web-based manufacturers can find brand new customers in places they never dreamed of, simply by going online and making their products available to the at-large Internet audience. For some, the sky is the limit.
Businesses of all sizes continue to tap into the Internet to sell products, services, vacations, as well as to communicate with their customers. But according to web marketing experts, the Internet advantage goes to the smaller-sized businesses. These half-pints beat the big dog when it comes to going online. The relative low-cost of getting a site up coupled with this highly flexible marketing channel means itâs easier than ever for the little guy to get a bigger piece of the action. Many small entrepreneurs discover the market potential for their niche is larger than they expected, sometimes too large. The World Wide Webâs ability to bring unexpected customers to them at a far lower cost than old-school marketing has inundated many a small business.
Search engine marketing, which includes innovative approaches for improving a website’s occurrence on an assortment of search engines, represented a $5.75 billion industry in 2005, up 44 percent from a year earlier, according to the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization. While much of that expenditure went for pay-per-click advertising, more than four out of five marketers also reported using search engine optimization, which can be achieved through careful Web site design and content.
The low-cost nature of online marketing today has facilitated the rapid growth of many start-ups, without the need for piles and piles of venture capital or other outside investment, ultimately boosting their likelihood of success, according to experts in online marketing. Today’s web-based entrepreneurs are underscoring success as they grow. Fueling the growth are new products and services created by smart businesses owners after listening to their customers and the complaints of their competitorsâ customers.
The opportunity to get your product in front of millions has never been more affordable.

Turn Google search results into selling points
Santu.com’s Sell Anywhere Links — selling products and services (not to mention charging for membership) has never been more straightforward on the Web.
With Sell Anywhere Links—a patented service that allows you to offer your products online and get results instantly—you get a customized URL that could contain your product name (eg., ipod.santu.com). When people visit this link, the product gets added to the shopping cart right away. The shopping cart, as well as the payment gateway, are also part of the Santu.com service, by the way.
Imagine the SEO value contained in this unique service! And once you do get Google to index your Sell Anywhere Link, you can turn search engine results into virtual “Buy Now!” Links.
Due to the fact that your product name is part of your website address (e.g., yourproduct.santu.com), it’s naturally SEO ready. All you need to do from there is to apply SEO best practices to make sure your Sell Anywhere Link appears on the front page of Google search results. Here are a few tips.
Decide on your desired search keyword. Let’s say you’re selling iPods, and you’ve created the address, ipod.santu.com, in your premium Santu.com account. You need to figure out what words people use to search for iPods when they want to buy online. (Tip: use www.google.com/trends to help decide on search keywords). Let’s say you decided on “best ipod deals” as your search keyword. Your Sell Anywhere Link would therefore be, in HTML parlance, best ipod deals.
Promote your link. To increase visibility not only to people but also to search engines, your Sell Anywhere Link should appear in as many websites as you can possibly manage. Use Facebook, Twitter, Plurk, Tumblr, Flickr, and other social networking services to promote your link. Don’t forget to include it in your blog’s blogroll as well! A high amount of incoming links (external sites linking to your site) is a good way to increase SEO value.
Get your friends to include your Sell Anywhere Link in their blogrolls, too. But make sure they use the correct keywords!
Submit your link to Web directories. There are hundreds—nay, thousands—of online directories where you can submit your Sell Anywhere Link. Just search for “Web directories” and follow the search results! The purpose of this activity is to increase the number of incoming links. However, try to avoid directories that are full of spam entries.
As you accomplish these (and other) SEO techniques, constantly check your search results ranking by doing a Google search for “best ipod deals” and see if your Sell Anywhere Link comes out on the front page of the search results. Once it does, you will have achieved ‘high searchability’.
Imagine, when people search for “best ipod deals” and your Sell Anywhere Link comes out prominently on the front page of Google search results, and they click on your link, that’ll almost be as good as a sale!
