Making Money Online – Who Has Time For Keyword Research!

Making Money Online – Who Has Time For Keyword Research!

Maybe you have heard from many of the so called experts that keyword research is vital to your success if you ever hope to make any money online. With a complicated algorithm of monthly keyword queries compared against competition for your desired keywords and the number of back links that your competition has you are supposed to decide whether a keyword is profitable or not.

Honestly, you can become paralyzed with analysis and never make any money online or overwhelmed with information on what the right number of monthly searches should be for a good keyword if you buy into the popular information out there. Experts have their own magic numbers for what makes a good keyword and what would eliminate a keyword from their list of what is doable or worth putting in the time and effort to pursue. Even talking about it can make your head hurt!

I will tell you that in the beginning I did very little keyword research and to this day I would rather spend my time doing just about anything else. Yes, I do have a couple of spreadsheets with keyword ideas for a popular niche but honestly I haven’t bothered to look at it in months. I am too busy doing what works for me and what makes sense to me.

I am not knocking those that do all sorts of keyword research and many folks swear by it. Many have even told me that I would find more success and wind up making more money online if I actually did do some keyword research but I would rather take a beating, thank you. I would rather have a root canal done without novacaine.

The simple fact is that keyword research doesn’t have to be painful or time consuming. With a little common sense you can come up with keywords that will get you organic search engine traffic. Ask yourself what you would type into a search engine to find information on the niche that you are hoping to rank for. What words would you type into a search engine to find the main topic of your site or your niche.

While many would argue that proper research would uncover the fact that there is too much competition for a certain keyword I would argue back that there is no such thing. As a matter of fact, those are the exact keywords that you should be going for… full bore ahead. Don’t look back and look at this like a real business. Look at the big picture and move forward with capturing page rank for those profitable keywords that you drool over.

This stuff isn’t just about making money online. This is about building a business with a long term strategy that will be making money for you for years to come. Stop looking at the dollar in front of your nose and see that in the future it is those keywords that others turn away from because… “well, it’s just too hard to beat those sites and I’ll NEVER be able to rank for those keywords” Pfft! If I can do it you can too!

Click Here to see how I DO make money online. Take a peek at the no bs system that is easy to understand and simple to implement. I dare you not to make money online with this stuff!

4 Tips on Making Your Internet Marketing Theories

4 Tips on Making Your Internet Marketing Theories

4 Tips on Making Your Internet Marketing Theories Viable

Has Anyone Done Something like It Before?

Rarely will you find or think of an idea that hasn’t at least one major similarity with other and previously conceived ideas. When you concoct any Internet marketing theory, the first thing you should do is research about previous theories that are parallel to what you’ve formulated. It might take you a while, depending on how unique your idea is, but don’t stop digging up for facts until you’ve uncovered one similarity.

Once you do, compare and contrast both ideas. Secondly, consider the various obstacles or the kind of opposition that the other Internet marketing theory had met. Where had it succeeded and where had it failed? For more details www.podcasting-made-easy.com.Do you expect to encounter similar things once you put your Internet marketing theory to test? What bearing would the similarities and differences of both ideas have on the viability of your theory?

The objective of this activity is simple: you’re doing everything you can to prevent history – at least the bad parts of it – from repeating itself.

What Are the Entry Barriers to Applying Your Internet Marketing Theory?

Applying an Internet market theory is similar to opening a new business. You need to conduct a study of the various factors that could affect the success of your goal. One such factor would be the possible entry barriers it would face. First off would be capital requirements. How much would you estimate your capital costs would be? Would most of this take the form of cash or would you also require purchases of raw materials and perhaps equipment as well?

How about government regulations? Would you have any problems launching the Internet marketing theory you have in mind? Would applying it require obtaining additional licenses, permits, or documents? What about intellectual property rights? Could any part of your Internet marketing theory be a concern for plagiarism? Intellectual property rights today are becoming more and more stringent so you have to be very careful in ensuring that no other person could claim possession over any part of your Internet marketing theory.

Other possible entry barriers that your Internet marketing theory may face include but are not limited to economies of scale and cost advantages independent of it, vertical integration, supply and demand ratio, globalization, network effect, customer loyalty, sunk costs, advertising, and research and development.

Perform a Trial on a Market Sample

Try looking for several individuals to make up a sample of your market. Now, put your Internet marketing theory to test and evaluate their reactions. What were their first impressions of it? Did they like it? For more details www.squeeze-page-profits.com.
Was their anything that they didn’t like or understand? It’s highly important that you make subjects understand what the activity is about, what you’re hoping to accomplish, what you expect from them, and the critical need for honesty and objectivity.

Consider the Four P’s

The first most important P would be PRODUCT. Does your Internet marketing theory suit the kind of product or service you’re marketing? Next would be PRICE. Determine which segment of the market you’re targeting. Considering the average income of your target market, how do you to price your product? Are you aiming for the high, low, or middle end of the market? How does your price compare with those of competing products?

Third would be PLACE. Who will help you apply your Internet marketing theory? Will you completely rely on your websites or do you have an affiliate program to depend on? Could you enter into joint venture agreements to increase the scope of your Internet marketing theory?

Lastly, consider the promotions or the actual Internet marketing theory itself. In summarizing all the factors listed here, do you think your Internet marketing theory viable or not? If yes then you’ve done a good job and you can go right ahead with launching it. Congratulations!

No salvo For Making These Copywriting Mistakes

No salvo For Making These Copywriting Mistakes

Copywriting might seem like it is hard to understand or to correctly apply, but there are going to be times when you want to exceed expectations. Of course this is only possible if you are not making silly mistakes like the ones we will discuss in this article.

Many new copywriters make lots of mistakes that are obvious and can be easily avoided. One source of many kinds of mistakes concerns the subheads, or subheadings, in the sales copy body. The ad for the sales letter, or copy, is the headline, and you simply cannot leave it out. Naturally, just like all writing your copy will have organizational elements such as paragraphs. The subheadings within the body of the sales copy will be for each particular different section in the copy. Subheads are useful because as people scan the copy, they can get an “at a glance” meaning of what your copy is about. It would be nearly impossible to state all the reasons why your copy won’t be read by readers. Your copy most definitely will not be read for long if you don’t take the time to organize your ideas and present them in coherent sections. So your subheadings need to be well-written so they make your readers want to stop skimming and then start reading slower. Your subheads are not to be ignored or treated as if they’re not important because they do contribute to the success of your copy. Many times your prospect finds one of your subheadings more interesting than your headline, and decides to buy the product. So don’t ignore the power of subheadings if you want to be a successful copywriter. The subject of headlines is critical because headlines are so critical to success. Obviously you need to command attention with it so people will stop and continue reading. To drive the point home, just remember that your headlines will only get about two seconds, roughly, to get the job done and make the reader want to know more. Therefore, take your time with your headline and write as many as you can before you decide on which one you like. Using the biggest and best benefit of your product, or service, in your headline is often suggested by many copywriters. If you write a headline that works well, then your job will be much easier.

Hopefully you’re aware that copywriting is a totally different animal than the English you sweated over in school. It’s the kind of writing that’s basic, simple, and easy to understand for about a level around the 7th or 8th grade – believe it or not. Always use benefit bullets in your copy after you introduce your product, and that’s why we talked about benefits vs. features. The reason for benefit bullets is they allow for rapid skimming and scanning, and well-written bullets can be extremely effective with closing sales. It’s important to have white space in your copy to ease eye strain, and benefit bullets will help you in that regard. The black wall of text is something that copywriters call it when there’s too little white space.

Make no mistake, it does take time to learn copywriting. Learning from others is always a good thing to do, so always try to learn from the mistakes of others and you’ll always see improvement. Always keep writing and practicing, and remember this article you have read.

No proof For Making These Copywriting Mistakes

No proof For Making These Copywriting Mistakes

Copywriting isn’t so terribly hard as a lot of people will have you believe. Of course it’s always helpful to have some knowledge of copywriting mistakes that are known to sink your copy in a hurry. So, we’ll now cover just three of these kinds of mistakes that you really don’t want to commit in your own copywriting.

A common copywriting mistake is not taking care of the punctuation when writing the copy. It’s important to always write very clearly and properly express the benefits of the product or service so everything is easy to understand. So for now just forget about the product quality for a moment and say that if you get any number of things wrong it will tend to decrease conversions. The reason grammar mistakes are important to keep at a minimum is because you’ll start creating too strong of a negative impression, and then people will extend that to how you conduct business, etc. There are many such minute details that have to be taken care of if you really want to see your sales copy give results. Never come across like you’re talking “down” to your readers, and one way you can easily make that mistake is by using big words with many syllables. Just like in school, the basic things like punctuation, spelling, and grammar can have a negative impact if there are too many mistakes. Do not make the mistake of giving away too much for free to the client but still try to get all of the required information out there. This can be a fine line to walk, especially if you do not know how to properly balance your copy. Your sales letter is supposed to educate your prospect about the product that you are promoting but it also needs to make the reader eager to buy it from you. The best way to achieve this is to include as many benefits as you can without being too hypey so that your customer knows exactly what he or she will be getting. Don’t go too heavy on features or other details that don’t really matter when it comes to making the sale. Keep your sales copy fluff free and make sure that the necessary details that will make the customer buy are included. Many copywriters lose sight of the fact that they are not writing for themselves but are trying to get someone else to buy from them. So keep the focus on your potential customers and make your sales copy really targeted.

Don’t make the mistake of assuming that a P.S. is not important. The fact that it has an impact on the rate of your sales conversions makes it just as important as your headline. The customer is given one last reminder about the benefits of the product with the P.S. or “post script”. This is your last chance to call your customer to action. There is going to come a time when your prospect has not yet made up his mind about buying from you. All they need is that one last reminder, and P.S. does that job perfectly. In addition to that it also allows you to give away very time sensitive details that will make the prospect act quickly. Helping your prospect decide to jump at your offer and feel like your product is worth their money is important if you really want to make money. That is when the P.S. becomes just as integral to the sale as your headline.

All in all, copywriting is an art that takes time to learn and cultivate. You can sort of instantly improve as a copywriter just by refusing to commit the silly mistakes. Always keep writing and practicing, and remember this article you have read.

Tips For Making A Lasting Impression At Networking Events

Tips For Making A Lasting Impression At Networking Events

How can you make a lasting impression at networking events? Have you ever attended a trade show or convention, shook a bunch of hands, collected a stack of business cards, and then the next day you go through the cards and can’t match faces (or more importantly, conversations) to names? Or do you remember someone you had a good chat with, but can’t recall the name of their business in order to look them up? Now look at the other end of that spectrum. Are you able say that you were effective in making a lasting impression on people so they’ll keep you in mind for future opportunities or transactions? How many of those people do you think will remember YOU? The next time you attend one of those large marcus evans business events, get your game in check before you work the room. Here are some tips:

1. Distinguish yourself. Clothing is a good way to do this. No need to be outlandish – women, you could try an unusual neckless, men, a hand-painted tie. Whatever you do, make sure you are at least impeccably groomed – dress for the occasion, shave, trim your nails (you’re going to be shaking a lot of hands), and make sure you’re not wearing overpowering amounts of cologne or perfume. You want to be remembered in a good way. Although you’re there to make a social/intellectual impression, physical appeal is important as well.

2. Be fully present and engaged in all your conversations. Make eye contact, pay attention to what you’re saying, respond promptly. If you’re only half there, you’re cheating yourself of potentially valuable information and possibly being rude to the person you’re talking with. Things have a tendency to move forward naturally when all parties are fully engaged. Even if a chat seemed like a waste of your time, at least you gave it the attention it deserved to be able to make a judgment call about whether that person would be a good contact. And who knows, later on, that connection could come in handy, even if it doesn’t just now.

3. Reiterate key points about you. In other words, find discreet ways to “plug” your who, what, when, where, why & how. If you’re at a particularly large networking event, such as a business convention hosted by marcus evans, people aren’t going to remember lengthy facts about you. At best, they might walk away with one or two key points: your name, company name, business/industry, product, location. You need to subtly increase the occurrence of these “keywords” in your conversation without sounding like a commercial for a local used car lot.

4. Give your two cents.

When talking to a group, whether sitting around a table at a luncheon or just gathered around in some other setting, it’s important to contribute to the conversation in a meaningful way if you want to make yourself stand out. Without dominating the conversation or saying something just to have spoken publicly, you can create value for yourself and make yourself memorable if you make one or two intelligent, impressionable statements that add to the discussion.

5. Ask good questions. This shows that you’re paying attention to the person you’re networking with and it will often garner you more valuable information. “How did you get started in solar technology?” or “How did you come up with this or that product/idea?” are good questions, but the best and most thought provoking inquiries are going to be specific to your conversation and will flow naturally as long as you’re engaged in the talk.
