Android Platform Releases
Version 1.5 was the first major release to the Android Platform. This consisted of correcting many significant bugs reported by users including email, Bluetooth and multi-media. Version 2.0 brought with it several Google Android API for users to take advantage of, such as account management, sync adapter and Bluetooth. The email support was enhanced to allow for unified management of multiple Google email accounts, Microsoft Exchange and even Facebook. Version 2.2 brought with it the world’s fastest browser as well as an enhanced Android Market Place and flash support for Google Android. Internet connection by hot spot and/or tethering was also improved.
All in all, with Google Android and Microsoft Exchange Server hosting from an application service provider, companies can confidently add the Android Platform to their employee communications options.

Free Banner Exchange Program
Free Banner Exchange Program
1st July 2010; The banner ads are the small advertisements, promoting services or products, displayed on the web pages of other sites. As per the present day scenario, the banner ads are the most effective way of publicising any courtesy or product. As they are posted on many sites, they have the potential of reaching the mass. Furthermore, the banner ads make a web site more supplicate and pleasant looking by giving it a professional touch. The sole purpose of the banner ads is to direct traffic to the client website. Therefore it is necessary that the client must have ample of banner ads to be posted on the affiliate sites. It is important that the ads should be created with striking colours or should have the effects like animations etc so as to catch the attention of the visitor.
The banner ads are undoubtedly a establish way of advertising. But in absence of compelling promotion techniques, the banner ads are not able to generate the expected profit for the client website. By employing the correct endorsement practices, one can look ahead to more out of less. There are a number of cost effective methodologies that have the potential to generate the desired results in returns of low investments.
Advertising is pricey. Therefore, one can opt for free banner ads and save money. Furthermore, for the client having plans of bulk advertising, the banner exchange program is highly beneficial. Here in, the client is allowed to post his free banner ads on other website and in return the other websites can post their ads on the client website. The choice of the website used under the banner exchange program plays a vital role in marking the success of the ad. For instance, if the website in which the ad is posted is customer based, the probability of hits rises. Good results can also be achieved if the free banner exchange is between the complementary sites and not the competing ones. On the other hand, if the site already has a number of banner ads posted, it will not generate the potential returns for the client website.
Though the banner exchange program adds extra doors to the client’s website, but it has few drawbacks also. In return of each free banner ad, the client website has to post other site’s banner ads on to his website. This further increases the possibility of redirecting the traffic visiting the client’s website on to some other site. Furthermore, with so many free banner ads posted, the website appearance gets hampered. The site looks more cluttered and confusing. Not only that, the over advertising of any website casts negative impact on the visitor and thus effects the client’s business.
The free banner exchange is by far an impressive program and can produce the results cost overweighing the investments. But at the same time it is necessary to evaluate the free banner ad from the visitor’s perspective to make the promotion a success.

Now that you have discovered the earning potential with affiliate makerting you are eager to get started earning thousands of dollars every month and gain financial independence.
At this point I am assuming you have already begun to establish your own blog website. You have spent many hours painstakingly writing useful and relevant content for your readers to enjoy and share with others.
Slowly you are begginning to see your readership increase and the search engines are begginning to send new visitors to your site each and every day. You are building trust and loyalty between you and your readers. It is a great thing!
Have you started to think about promoting affiliate products relating to your website content? Have you embedded hyperlinks and banner ads around your site to highlight the relevant content you have written?
If your answer is no AND you do not want to monetize (make cash) your website then there is no need to read further.
Good, you are still reading… In m opinion, making money on the internet is a numbers game. You can have great content, well placed advertisments and banner campaigns, a great mix of affiliate products and loyal readers, but you need thousands of readers a day to convert your well oiled website into a significant revenue stream.
If you have not already noticed there is not one method to increase your website traffic. You need to utilize many methods and over time your traffic will increase exponentially. I will concentrate on free and low cost solutions to increase your traffic.
Banner exchange programs are one method I think is very important to utilize on your website. There are hundreds of banner exchange programs around but here are a few that I think are very effective and free.
Click4Click
The Banner Exchange

Exchange Ad
Ad Ready
Traffiq
I like to utilize banner exchange programs in two ways.
First and the most common use of a banner exchange program is to place the banner exchange code on your site in an inconspicuous place such as the bottom of your side bar or below the footer. You will start to see your unique visitors increase almost immediately.
Another way to utilize banner exchange programs is to place the banner ad code on your website BUT have the landing page of your banner go directly to an affiliate hop link website such as a Clickbank affiliate. I think its a great way to advertise and does not cost you a cent.
You can also opt-in for as little as to increase your banner impressions. I recommend trying the free route first. You can place as many banners you like from different banner programs below the footer and start racking up the free advertisements on other websites.
Its important to realize there is no one solution or trick to increase your traffic. You must utilize a combination of many traffic builders to get the high volume needed to start making big profits promoting your website and affiliates.

Everything you wanted to know about free banner exchange
Everything you wanted to know about free banner exchange
Every marketer wants to spread his advertising network. Advertisers see it as a golden opportunity if his advertising network grows with little or no expenditure.
In case of banner advertising, advertiser spends in two ways. First he spends money for designing banner and then his expenditure goes more when he advertises his banner on other’s sites.
A free banner exchange programme is set up among advertisers to exchange each other’s banners. The advantage is you don’t need to spend money for this. All you need is to have a free space on your own web pages.
Mainly there are some standard sizes for free banner exchange programmes. Before you exchange your banner with other advertiser’s website, you need to know what banner spaces he is offering you. Do any of the banner spaces fit to your banner size? Get the information from the advertiser what are his banner sizes.
There are few limitations in free banner exchange programmes. The problems that you may face with free banner exchange are:
There are not too many websites on web that will accept your free banner exchange proposal. As a result you have to link banners with limited number of websites.
For every banner ad traffic exchange you have to place one banner in your website. If you tie up with ten advertisers, you have to place ten banners of them on your own website. That will occupy lot of webpage spaces on your own website.
Lack of knowledge about the other advertiser’s site may give your banner little exposure. If the advertiser puts your banner in a spam site, hate site and any other site where visitors are not your target audience, you may not get right kind traffic from free banner exchange programme.
Despite the odds in banner exchange advertising network, there are many advertisers who adopt it in their business. Those businessmen who have a really less budget, they can rely on free banner exchange programmes.
There are websites on internet where you have to make an account for promoting your banner ad for free on web. Since you are not investing any money there is absolutely no problem to take risk in free banner exchange programme.
Banner Exchange – the Free Promotions
Banner Exchange – the Free Promotions
Let us begin with website links. In a typical website link sharing program, a website owner or the one promoting the site joins a group of people or a network who have similar projects. Called as ring, the network allows the participants to exchange website links and thus help in promoting the sites. The websites or projects in any ring are more or less similar or have relevant resources.
Banner exchange programs work on these lines only. An owner registers in a group and then receives the banners from the group members. In return the participant’s own website banner gets displayed by others and hence the traffic coming to different sites navigate and reach the others in the group.
How does it work? It is very simple and needs little attention. When you enter or say register for a banner exchange program you are given a code (HTML code) that you have to insert in your site. The code is read by the webmasters and banners are delivered.
Different networks offer different exchange rates, for example 2:1 or 1:1. The exchange rate determines how many banners you have to put on your site in order to get your banner posted in some other website. For 2:1 rate you have to display two banner ads to get your banner posted once in any network site.
Banner exchange is an important promotional tool as it brings the audience from different websites. However there are some limitations. One prominent limitation is the focused area of a network. You will find banner networks for say electronic products websites, for UK websites, for marketing website and the same. The networks reflect a particular kind of websites to be included only because the target audience is one focused group.
Before going for a banner program it is our suggestion that you study the individual websites in the network you are interested in. Check out the exchange rates, the banner sizes allowed and any other credits you will be provided.

Banner Ads and Exchange- Advertising Tricks
Banner Ads and Exchange- Advertising Tricks
We find ourselves in an era where the Internet is practically a way of living and we can actually say that there are few those who do not use the Internet on a regular basis. As times change, we those that want our businesses to prosper have to adjust to these changes. This is how banner ads or banner exchange for the Internet was developed.
Banner ads are those flashing boxes that you can find on almost any commercial web site. They usually have a rectangular form and are placed at the top of the pages. These ads are graphics hyperlinked to the advertiser’ s URL. At the beginning, these ads were Gif images that were animated. However, as time passed and technology advanced, more and more Macromedia banner ads can be seen. Normally, the size of a banner is 468 X 60 pixels, but many sites usually limit the size of this graphic file to 12 k .
Banner ads are being used today to advertise all type of web sites, but unfortunately the success that these ads once had is now almost gone. Studies actually show that the rate of click- through has dropped with almost 0, 40 percent on average. Although this is a significant drop and many magazines that specialize in advertising say that soon we will see the end of these types of ads, big and small companies still use this form of advertising on the Internet. This is actually a part of their advertising strategy and together with other types of advertising, success is guaranteed. All you have to do is be careful what site or sites you choose to advertise your business.
As this type ,of advertising showed a lot of success, other forms were invented as well. This is how banner exchange was born. This is network of web sites that actually display each others banner ads and thus help each other with business. This association takes place voluntarily and it is done using a specialized web site.
There are many sites that offer banner exchange services and choosing the right one is just a matter of research. Each of these sites has their advantages and disadvantages. When you want to consider banner exchange as an advertising option, you should first research the market and see what the offers are. The number of the web sites that are partners and they success on line is very important when choosing. The bonuses and promotions that these sites offer also have to be taken into consideration if you want to be successful in what you are doing.
To advertise your business, web site on the internet is very easy and the possibilities are numerous. However, before doing that, you should see what type of publicity is better and thus assure yourself that you will have success in what you want to do. Banner ads and banner exchange have proven to be a very reliable advertising source and even if some believe that this advertising form will find its end very soon, the truth is that many of the big names in business use it.

Power of Microsoft Exchange Email Hosting
Microsoft Exchange is by far the number one communication platform for companies all over the world. A press release from Microsoft published in March 2008 estimates “that 81 of Fortune 100 companies, along with millions of users, use [Microsoft] Exchange as their primary messaging and calendaring platform.” This highlights the fact that sending, receiving and sharing communications and information today thoroughly depends on the MS Exchange platform.
Microsoft Exchange Email
One very significant aspect of the MS Exchange platform is email. Sending and receiving emails are a crucial part of everyday communication as businesses rely on their internal and external communication. It is estimated that the number of emails being sent each and every day in 2008 was around 210 billion. This figure would be even higher today, a year later. On the MS Exchange platform you can send/receive emails seamlessly based on your circumstances; emails can be accessed on your desktop computer / Laptop wherever you are connected, mobile phone or on the web. The points below briefly outline the characteristics of MS Exchange on desktop, mobile phone and web.
Microsoft Exchange on your Desktop / Laptop
Microsoft Outlook is the most commonly used email client running on the MS Exchange platform. With Microsoft Outlook you can organise your workload, share information with others and all from one place. Thunderbird from Mozilla is an open source development and a no cost email client to use if you are not using Outlook. Using Thunderbird with Exchange lets you access emails through Entourage, Mac Mail, or any POP or IMAP desktop client.
Microsoft Exchange on your Mobile Phone
With MS Exchange you can send and receive emails from any POP or IMAP connection with your mobile phone or smart phone, such as BlackBerry, iPhone or Windows Mobile. MS Exchange on your mobile phone lets you stay connected to your email on the go 24/7/365.
Microsoft Exchange on the Web
With Microsoft Outlook Web Access you get the same look and feel of the Microsoft Outlook desktop application but with the convenience of having web-based access, meaning having access from any location and any machine with an internet connection.
So what to look for in an Email Hosting provider when deciding on using Microsoft Exchange platform?
Besides customer service, service features, reliability and security (which are on their own and combined important factors), you should also look at the working relationship the email hosting provider has with Microsoft.
One email hosting provider in the UK with an excellent working relationship with Microsoft Exchange is Rackspace. Email hosting from Rackspace is supported by Microsoft Certified professional staff and Rackspace is one of only 6 email hosting providers who have achieved a Microsoft Gold partner status.
