Nokia N79 is Joined by New Nokia N79 White Edition UK

Nokia N79 is Joined by New Nokia N79 White Edition UK

Colour variants of mobile phones is not a new phenomenom, however the new Nokia N79 has found company with another in the range that is a little different.

Rather than simply changing the colour of the external casing Nokia have reverted back a few years to a time when personlising a mobile phone was a major craze, we are only talking about a couple of years ago but the fad of buying and changing exterior fascias looks set to return in a big way.

The Nokia N79 is supplied with three different coloured fascias also known as Xpress-On covers, depending on the users mood these panels can simply be ‘popped off’ and replaced with a colour of the users choosing, the new Nokia N79 White edition is no different to the original model.

The Nokia N79 back panels or fascias come in many different colours, these include: Light Sea Blue, Espresso Brown, Olive Green, White and Coral Red, each Xpress-On cover has a built in chip which will automatically change the colour of the interface theme accordingly. ie: Slipping on the green fascia will change the colour of hte wallpaper, menu options and selections to a green theme.

This is a step further than the personlisation of days gone by and makes for a great USP, if for example you were a girl about town out in a nightclub not only could you match the colour of the external casing to match that great new dress but when the N79 lights up this will also compliment the look!

Aside from the cosmetics, this new N-Series handset packs a punch when it comes down to features and makes for a real alternatrive to the other latest releases from this high specification range including the Nokia N96 and Nokia N85.

The latest Nokia N79 White edition offers exctly the same technology, features and candy-bar design as the original model which is also known as the grey edition.

The Nokia N79’s 5 mega-pixel camera & Carl Ziess optics lets users capture moments in amazing clarity whilst the dual LED flash allows for quality photographs even in the poorest lighting conditions. Geo Tag support automatically records the location of photos, to let users see when and where their pictures were captured.

The Nokia N79 White offers built in AGPS technology alongside Nokia maps software providing instant navigation, on foot or by car, letting users find their way to a destination quickly and easily. An extensive POI (Points Of Interest) database means that new places can be found in the users location, find cinema’s, clubs, bars or even cash points.

The Nokia N79’s high speed 3G (HSDPA) and Wi-Fi connectivity allows user sto stay up to date with the latest news, sports, views and gossip plus fast connections to on-line neighbourhood- friends, deeds and favourites user scan also connect to the web with the Nokia MiniMap web browser, which displays complete websites just like a desktop.

Browse, stream and download millions of songs at the Nokia Music store, downloads can then be stored on the 4GB microSDHC memory card. 3G services also allows for face to face video calling with compatible handsets making communication that little bit more personal and facilitating professionals.

A relatively new software addition to this range of phones isNokia lifeviNe which simply and automatically documents mobile activity creating unique personal files about whatever a user wants. Photos, videos and music can be tagged on a map wherever a user may be and uploaded on-line to be saved, searched or shared with friends.

The new white edition of the Nokia N79 has initially been made available as a SIM Free device which is unlocked to all of the UK networks operators, this is great news for consumers who may struggle to pass the strict network credit checks or who may need to replace a lost or stolen phone. It also opens up the possibility of purchasing the N79 as a present for tohers as there is no registration required at point of purchase.

The Nokia N79 may be classed as a fashion phone but with the onboard features and technology this phone has to offer it will be an attractive proposition for busy professionals and business users alike. The Nokia N79 is the first candy-bar designed phone to be launched since the previous Nokia N82, with the new features and personlisation aspect this phone should appeal to those users now looking to upgrade their older model.

SIM Free Edition Nokia E75 with No Network Locks

SIM Free Edition Nokia E75 with No Network Locks

The E-Series range of smart phones has expanded to include the new E75 model, a Nokia phone with a full slide out Qwerty keyboard aimed squarly at the business user.

The Nokia E75 has been released as a SIM Free mobile phone, this means that the new E75 is unlocked to all network operators allowing the user to insert their own SIM card.

This has many benefits including that fact that the user can retain their current mobile number without incurring any extra line rental charges, they continue using the service from their existing network as before.

It also means that any contcts that the user has saved to their SIM card as opposed to their previous phone will move across to their new SIM free Nokia E75.

There is only one downside to buying a SIM Free E75 and that is that the consumer is actually paying for the ‘real’ price of the mobile phone, that is to say that there are no network subsidies as with pay as you go and contract phones – freedom always comes at a price!

The Nokia E75 SIM free phone is supplied with a full 12 months manfacturers warranty as with network connected handsets to cover any manufacturing faults, this new model would make a great replacement handset for a lost or stolen mobile phone where the user did not take out sufficient insurance to cover the loss.

The SIM Free Nokia E75 can also be bought as a present for others as there is no need to register your purchase as with contract mobile phones, the end recipient can simply isert their SIM card and carry on regardless.

One huge benefit for those who may be suffering from a poor credit rating is that they can now own the Nokia E75 as there are no network credit checks as with contract phones, this will please many in these difficult economic times.

Following on from the Nokia E63 and Nokia E71 models the E75 adds a unique twist in the slide out keyboard, all of the other models had their keyboards on the front of the phone whilst the E75 opts to hide this and protect it from damage.

The Nokia E75 is the newest Smartphone from the Nokia shed. It has been getting a pretty good hype recently. And with good reason too. The phone styled like candy uses QWERTY keyboard slider, 3.2 megapixels camera and gives awesome sound quality among other things. Let us take a quick look at some of the good, bad and the ugly of this new mobile phone.

Advantages

At 139 grams and 14.4mm x 50mm x 11.8mm dimensions, the phone is not too big, not too small, just comfortable. The phone, which is in CandyBar Formfactor, fits right into the hand. The phone maintains the high quality that we have so far experienced in all the Eseries phones so far.

It gives great sound quality and even though it is a phone directed to the professional business community, it does not take multimedia lightly. AAC, eAAC+, WMA and MP3 formats could be used on the media player.  Real player, MP4, Flash, H264, H263 QVGA, 3GP are some video formats suitable for the Video player. Video Streaming, FM player, Windows media player are to be noted too. You can also enjoy with Nokia podcast, Nokia music manager and Nokia music store.

The 2.4-inch QVGA display comes with 16 million colors and in 240 by 320 pixels. It has excellent camera of 3.2 megapixels with Digital zoom, Autofocus, and LED flash. Nokia E75’s version of Nokia Messaging, the default Email Client is a much-improved version of the old one. The phone and the slider look great and the slider is reported to function without any hassles. The QWERTY Keyboard lives up to the reputation and is big and comfortable. The screen, though not big enough, is good enough for easy viewing. It gives good readability even in harsh sunlight. It enables charging through USB port taking convenience to a new platform.

The battery is great! Even with continuous use it lasts really long. It claims a standby Time of 264hrs. It gives a very good organizer that comes equipped with Phonebook, Alarm Clock, Clock, Calendar and Calculator.

GSM and HSDPA networks, Wi-Fi Connectivity, Micro USB, Bluetooth 2.0, GPRS and EDGE Technology, Nokia Web browser, AGPS Navigation and Nokia Maps all speak of easy connectivity and navigational possibility.

Disadvantages

The loudspeaker of the phone is not quiet loud enough. The keys used in N-gage gaming do not use the full potential of the QWERTY keyboard. It is not easy to open the memory card slot. The gap on one end when it is in Candy bar mode looks worrying, as if the slider will come tumbling out. This is not a real problem though, as the handset it pretty safely tight. Finger impressions fall easily on the phone.

As anyone can see, the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. Most of the minuses are ignorable. This is the best QWERTY phone you could find and all the other features are on with par or better than other phones on the market. This new phone has a lot of promise.

The Nokia E75 has now been released on O2 and Orange contract deals as well as Pay As You Go for those who do not like the committment of a pay monthly agreement, there are further network launches planned for this latest E-Series Qwerty phone over the coming weeks.

The Great Wall of China into the mobile Internet made high-end Tablet PC Edition iPad market depression cheap war fear

iPad triggered the launch of the Chinese consumer electronics industry’s attention HP pavilion zd8000 battery on the Tablet PC. In response, domestic brands Great Wall Computer unwilling to fall behind others, April 28, 2010, the Great Wall in Beijing released a 7-inch and 11-inch two series of tablet PCs, multi-point pressure sensitive touch screen Gpad and Gbook. The first was on May 1 Gpad Tablet PC during the first U.S. state shelves.

Great Wall Computer’s first step into the mobile Internet

Late last month, Great Wall Computer released two series Tablet PC. Great Wall Computer Week Gengshen the conference president, said: “The launch of Tablet PC Great Wall, mainly the industrial environment as well as user needs mature warming. Gome we will also reach a comprehensive strategic cooperation, and the use of television shopping , Internet Mall and other channels to further dominate the market, together with traditional industry channels for the formation of channels and channel coverage. “This indicates that the Great Wall computers into mobile Internet strategy, the first step.

It is understood that the Great Wall released two series of tablet PCs, and the ARM architecture across the X86 architecture. China Great Wall Computer is not only the first launch of Tablet PC manufacturers, but also worldwide, the first Tablet PC released two architecture firms. These two series will support an unprecedented 10-point touch, 3G, GPS and other relevant applications have joined its inside.

As the mobile Internet era, Tablet PC like a huge and delicious cake cause of many coveted industry giants. In mainland China, Great Wall Computer lifted into the Tablet PC market pioneer flag, the Great Wall is also the first step in the computer into the Internet strategy.

Stand in the gap before the Tablet PC

Album function, electronic reader, use Twitter and Facebook, send e-mail, watching movies, Skype VoIP, music, graphics, download software, play games, browse the web, iPad several applications that lead the IT industry, new business model. The industry believes that the advent of Apple iPad is likely to rewrite the entire industry’s profitability model. However, the content of media  Tablet PC only wants to break in the profit model on the dominance of the hardware still a complex process. Apple’s IBM ThinkPad R50 battery iPhone model only as a reference  especially in China’s consumer environment, the ability to create and then successfully copy Apple’s model of Apple myth yet to be verified.

For China’s companies, there is another problem in front of them, that is the technical bottleneck. Industry experts believe that the current view of Microsoft’s latest operating system, Windows7, although the increase in specialized settings for the touch screen, but some details still to continue the traditional line that some details here, or if by fingers to click very difficult. If the screen is not big enough, this difficulty is even more increased. Not their own proprietary operating system, Tablet PC is the largest technical difficulties. Moreover, the current objective of hardware performance constraints, Tablet PC and the Internet is likely to face the same embarrassment in this market.

High-end flat depression in the Chinese market, cheap bayonet fighting terrorism

Great Wall Computer now played low cards, and released two series of Gpad offset the price of computers has been set at 1999 yuan. The GBOOK probably early in June listed the price is still unknown specific. Great Wall Gpad price or less than half the iPad, which became the largest market now selling point, the user’s attention, which far exceeds the expectations of product performance, this is a signal for alarm: the market, many domestic manufacturers seem to have the energy to the endless price war with no long-term significance of the war of words.

As the Tablet PC’s start, if not to its own brand and differentiate the functions of applications to attract the market, then the future of other domestic manufacturers Tablet PC price war is difficult to break the shackles of the. If the high-end markets to evolve into cheap melee, it means greatly devalued the domestic industry prospects.

Senior analysts also believe that if there is no long-term strategy of mature HP pavilion ZV6000 Battery consideration, cut into the country early for Tablet PC is bound to face a series of unpredictable business risks.

Apple iPad’s Hot, caused either hardware or software giants are on the Tablet PC market leader in beach landing, the influx of these companies have Tablet PC market. Market analyst IDC, said: “iPad success for the industry to see the Tablet PC to return to personal consumer electronics market confidence.”

Today, many vendors are emphasizing their own tablet PCs cheaper. Although the price of any product has been restricting the most important factor universal coverage. However, if the manufacturers to invest our energy on endless price war, that the end can only be short-lived.

Domestic PC makers, only considering the premise of consumer demand, have their own different features, efforts to break the technical bottlenecks in the Tablet PC market to gain a firm foothold.

Kaufman Bros analyst Shaw Wu said in a telephone interview with the enterprise technology market from the economic downturn after the resumption of growth in server sales decline, the two PC giants expect strong demand from the server will get the benefits. You will see signs of strong growth enterprise market, and even desktop computers too.
