Keyword research is very important to your online marketing campaigns. Whether you’re an affiliate marketer or wanting to promote your own information product, keyword research is going to be very important to your success online.

However, keyword research is only part of the puzzle. If you want to ensure your success online, you’re going to have to look at the market as a whole.

Market research and keyword research are often interchanged but they are actually quite different. Before you start your next affiliate marketing campaign or begin creating your next product you should do some market research.

Market research looks at the market as a whole and not just the specific keywords.

When you do keyword research for a specific term your research program (whether it’s Wordtracker, Adwords or some other variation) will return a list of keywords. These keywords represent your market.

Instead of looking at the keywords individually at this point, you just want to look at the market as a whole. Look at the list of keywords and analyze it.

There are two different keyword categories that these keywords can fall into – informational keywords and commercial keywords.

Informational keywords are keywords that are related to searches for information. If you’re doing market research on cameras, informational keywords would be “free camera lessons” or “camera care.”

These words are related to information about cameras but not necessarily buying a camera.

Commercial keywords are related to purchasing. In this case they’d be “right camera to buy” or “best DSLR camera.”

Commercial keywords and informational keywords are part of your market analysis. When you are looking at a potential market, you should choose a market that has a mix of both keywords. You need both to be successful.

Commercial keywords will be used to create affiliate marketing money pages. The searches for these keywords will lead directly to your pages where you are promoting products to meet these needs. You can also use these commercial keywords to create information products.

Informational keywords can be used to create free content that will attract readers to your offer, whether it’s an affiliate offer or your own information product.

When you choose a market with too many informational keywords, you won’t have enough keywords to create a product or traffic coming into your affiliate landing pages. Without keywords that can convert to sales you’ll be wasting your time. With too many commercial keywords you won’t be able to create enough helpful content.

Once you’ve narrowed down the right amount of commercial and informational keywords in your market, you can begin to find the most popular and most profitable keywords for your market.

Traditional keyword research methods, like analyzing monthly searches and the amount of competing sites, will help you find the right keywords to use to optimize your pages.

As you can see, finding the market first and then the keywords is essential to your success. If you focus only on the keywords you might be limiting yourself and work yourself into a corner. Find the market and then find the keywords and you’ll have a long term business.

What is the difference between an iPad and an iPhone/iPod touch?

 

To me, the iPad seems just like a giant iPod touch. How are they different? Does the iPad have different capabilities? I already have an iPod touch, so would it be a waste to get an iPad?

Someone has asked this question online, so it is really worth paying attention to treat an iPad or iPhone/iPod touch. Is it really so necessary?

Many people have their own ideas:

1. iPad has a bigger screen, some apps catered for the iPad, and more expensive models have AT&T 3G for data connectivity. If these things are not as important to you, it might not be worth the money to buy an iPad. Let’s face it – for the price of an iPad, you can buy a computer to support your iPod.

The difference between an iPhone, and iPod Touch is the iPhone has cellular services, integrated phone, integrated SMS/MMS, and can support hand-free bluetooth.

2. That’s what the iPad is Apple calls it a Mix of a iPod Touch and a Laptop. I have a iPhone 3G S and I got the iPad and I love it, I don’t really use my Laptop anymore. I only use it when I need to wright a paper for school.

The iPad is better for borrowing the internet even if Flash does not work. But because a lot of people are now starting to use there Mobile devices to search the webs, sites are switching to JavaScript.

But if you thinking about getting the iPad, Go to a Apple Store or a Best Buy and Play around with it. Because your asking for my opinion or the guy above me and our opinion maybe different from yours.

3. the ipod touch and the ipad is not much different. but the ipad is like a computer that u can use ur fingers as a touch screen and an ipod touch is smaller and is almost the same.

4. Keep an eye on iFunis resource to compare iPad and an iPhone/iPod .

5. Beyond the obvious difference in size, there are a number of differences between the iPad and the iPod touch.

Perhaps most significantly the iPad supports more full featured applications — like word processing and presentation software — but there are a number of capability and feature differences as well as a notable difference in performance.

6. The iPad basically runs the same operatin system as the iPod Touch and iPhone. The main difference is the size of the screen.

There are thousands of new apps that take advantage of the large screen including Apple’s gread wordprocessing app ‘Pages’ and spreadsheet app ‘numbers’. It is eash to view web pages and movies look great on it too.

I would recommend getting an iPad if you want a computer that is very portable with a great battery life and if you are not tied to Microsoft programs.

7. The iPod touch and iPhone are awesome, whereas the iPad is the spawn of evil and capitalism. If you already have an iPod touch, don’t waste your money on an iPad. If you’re going to spend that much for what is basically a laptop without flash bred with the iPod touch…you may as well get an actual laptop.

To answer your actual question, the major difference between the iPad and the touch (aside from size) is that you can create documents, charts, and presentations on the iPad…of course you have to pay to download the programs that allow you to do so, but that’s apple for you. Granted, you’ll have to pay for the equivalent of these programs too

if you go for a laptop. Of course, with a laptop, you’re far less likely to have to deal with your stupid contraption shutting off and losing all your work because it gets too hot.

Sooo….get a laptop.
