Get into Affiliate Card Credit Marketing Programs
If you want to make money as an affiliate, don’t try to market internet marketing products like ‘how to make money online’. If you want to get into a hot market, look for affiliate card credit marketing programs.
Credit cards business competitive, so find a niche
Sure, this is a very competitive business, but if you choose your keywords carefully, and you always need to do that, you can get yourself into a little niche. As always, find the market first and then find the product.
One way to market credit cards is to look for people with special interests, like cycling, sailing, golf, mountain climbing, dogs. Any special interest. These people are always ready to buy something related to their hobby, and you can find credit cards that can have a picture related to your favorite hobby on it.
Special interests
This is a different way of marketing credit cards, and it works for some other products as well. The idea is to find a product that almost anyone might want and market it to a special-interest group. How do you do this? One way is with Adwords, but that can be expensive. Another is to seek out forums and have a signature that advertises the credit card. This is usually the only form of advertising allowed in forums, but it can make sales, and also get people to your website.
Yes, it is a good idea to have a website to promote credit cards, but again it must be targeting a niche to get ranked. It is not a good idea trying to ranked for ‘get a credit card’ as you will b competing with about 1.5 million sites. On the other hand, I found only one website marketing credit cards for dog lovers. Here is a great market, not big, because most dog lovers don’t know that you can get a special credit card of this type.
How you get paid
Credit card companies either pay quite a lot for each sign-up, or will pay you less for leads. Lead generation can be a good way to go, because many more people sign up as being interested than actually get the card. By getting paid for leads you are no longer concerned about the ability of the credit card company to convert leads into sign-ups.
The marketing is the same, in that you have to get the prospect to visit the credit card company’s website, and to do this you will need to give them an incentive, or rely on incentives given by the credit card company. You can easily work out how much you can give away to get a prospect to the site, and then buy an e-book, knowing that if you get, say, 20 leads, the e-book will be paid for.
This is one of those markets where you need to think a little about your marketing rather than just jumping in. However, if you do, you could find this very profitable indeed.

Is there a headline relevant to your business in the news today? Change your online content to reflect this. Are sales of a particular product down? Lower your price and put up a special offer banner. Your website can react much faster than any other business channel.

It’s important to get the most out of your website marketing:
- Make sure that your site is working to its best potential. Think of it this way – if money is tight then people might be more picky about who they do business with. Can You Pass Google’s Credit Check?
Getting your site listed on the first page of Google’s search results is a bit like getting a loan from a bank.
You aren’t likely to be approved for a loan if you have no income and no credit history. It’s too risky for the bank to extend credit to those who aren’t worthy of it.
Google trades in a different currency… traffic, and just like the banks assess risk before lending money, Google will assess risk before “lending” traffic.
Google may not care if you’ve ever paid a bill late, but make no mistake about it… they have their own version of a credit check and you need to pass it in order to be found in their search results.
The Google credit check is of course the process of determining “Page Rank”.
Nobody outside of Google, and probably very few people on the inside actually know how page rank is calculated. There are a number of factors, but exactly what they are and how they’re weighted is about as closely guarded as the recipe for coca-cola.
We may not ever know the formula in its entirety, but we don’t need to. The most important ingredients are always obvious. Sugar and water for coca-cola… Relevance and Link Popularity for Google Page Rank.
Relevance is something Google is very good at figuring out. If you sell widgets on your site, as long as Google has crawled it… they know your site is about widgets and you’re already in the result set for the search term ”widgets”.
The problem is that no matter what you do in terms of optimizing the content and structure of your website, it is going to start out on the last page of the result set instead of page 1, and that’s where it will stay until you establish your credit history (link popularity).
Google’s own assessment of relevance isn’t sufficient for anything other than inclusion in a result set. To move you up in the result set, Google has to be sure your site will actually be perceived as relevant and important by human beings.
That’s where the link popularity comes in. If webmasters of other sites that Google thinks are in some way relevant to widgets see fit to send traffic to your widget site, then that confirms to Google that human beings will perceive relevance.
Inbound links form your credit report, which is an indication of human perception of relevance. That’s what makes Google comfortable with sending their traffic to you.
If you want traffic, and the top spot on Google, then you need to get other webmasters to link to you from relevant sites… period.
Fortunately, that is a very easy thing to accomplish. It simply involves offering something of value in exchange for each link you receive. There are literally dozens of ways to do this for free… and on a massive scale.
