Ppc Online Advertising – 5 Biggest Mistakes
Ppc Online Advertising – 5 Biggest Mistakes
Having run an internet selling business and striving with Google AdWords for the out of 2 years, I have pretty much seen or felt every mistake one serves to make when paying Google AdWords. Most people new to the internet and using AdWords cost loads of money initially because they really do not understand the dynamics of using AdWords properly. <p>And of process many of them abandon their attempt at building a business being convinced that what they have heard is true…”You just can’t make finances on the internet.” <p>I am here to say to you the it is basically possible to be making BIG money in AdWords if you learn how to use it, but maybe that much more important, how not to use it. Here is a listing of the top 5 mistakes the current you must avoid if you have any chance of making money amongst AdWords. <p>(1) Don’t Bid Too High Too many times new marketers tend to bid too high for steady keywords that properties think will force traffic to their website. You need to do the keyword inspection and understand that sites are willing to get you the proper return for your ad dollar. Bidding low on diminished competitive keywords may not get you the huge volume of traffic, but what you do get is planning to be exceptionally motivated to buy what you are selling. Start with very low bids and adjust them to fit the market. <p>(2) Generalized Keywords General searching terms can completely stink up a lot of your budget without furnishing any results. Stay away from very broad keyword terms this as “dog, money, flowers, and phones” due to the fact that people using these broad searching terms recently are not becoming to buy. <p>(3) Small Daily Budget If you set your daily budget too low your ad is able to not get shown. Your daily budget has a big impact on how often Google will confirm your ad when your keywords are searched. For example, if you cause a a day budget, Google is going to spread out your ad as to not exceed such a budget. If your budget is too low, you will not even verify up within Google’s sponsored listings. <p>(4) Content Network Probably the most regular mistake people make is using the content network. You should pass up the content network at all costs. When you embark on a new campaign, the content network is planning to be turned on by default. You can spend large amounts of traffic within the content network very quickly, and the unique of the traffic from the content network is nothing covet the quality of searching the web traffic. <p>(5) Use Your Affiliate ID URL Believe it or not many new advetisers do not recognize how properties will get credited for a sale, and do not use their affiliate linking code as the objective URL in their ad. This signals that this advertiser will not get credit for any sale, thus providing the merchant “free” traffic. Make sure you input your affiliate code in the destination URL or you will not get credited for sales. These are just some of the mistakes that can be put up by an advertiser on Google. <p>You can avoid these mistakes as well as others by learning a little good marketing strategies with resources such as Beating AdWords, an excellent e-Book who lays out precisely how to use AdWords and what not to do in order to use your ad money more effectively. The difference between a marketer who becomes successful online and one who does not can come down to the mistakes that one makes. Following these kinds of information as immensely as getting a more detailed education on how best to use AdWords might mean you will hastily be making money with AdWords. The Biggest Lie Potential Clients Will Tell A Copywriter
The Biggest Lie Potential Clients Will Tell A Copywriter
“Come down on price on this one and there’ll be more work to come.”
This come-on is a favorite of potential new clients who either have no money, or are justifiably trying to keep costs down.
Either way it doesn’t matter to the copywriter because both circumstances ask the copywriter to sacrifice his or her income on the promise of more work.
Unfortunately, “more work” rarely materializes. In my opinion, most of these people don’t lie with malice, they simply lack the funds to pay a reasonable rate for copywriting.
One thing is clear: they do value copywriting and understand its power to add to THEIR bottom line.
Why is this situation such a dilemma for the freelance copywriter?
I think it’s safe to say that every copywriter has experienced tight finances. And for this reason alone it’s tempting to talk yourself into saying “yes” to a bad proposition.
In addition, the copywriter might see value in adding the proposed project to his portfolio…and if it gets a great response, add a powerful case study too.
Plus, the most trusting among us will believe there is more work to come, and will be anxious to land the job and develop a new copywriter/client relationship.
These and other realities of the copywriting life help us talk ourselves into a situation we’ll regret…a pattern of accepting low pay from clients we don’t want in the first place.
How to say “yes” the PROFITABLE way…
The good news is, you can say “yes” to new clients who promise more work IF you protect yourself.
A couple of years ago a European software company came to me with the intent of breaking into the U.S. market.
Phil, the CEO of this mid-size company, was a tough negotiator. He wanted a ten percent price break for work he said would come to me over the course of that year. When I priced the work, the total came to about ,000.
Obviously, this was a client I wanted to say “yes” to, but knowing the “big lie,” I also realized I would be on the line for lost income if he didn’t provide me with the promised work.
My solution was to work it into my Fee Agreement, which all clients must sign, date, and fax back to me before work can commence.
I stipulated a ten percent price break (,200) on the ,000 job, listed all work to be performed and its respective dollar value, and then added copy to this effect:
“In exchange for a ten percent discount of ,200, all of the above work must be assigned by December 31, 2004; if all of the above work is not assigned by December 31, 2004, then the ten percent discount becomes null and void and an invoice will be submitted for immediate payment of ,200.”
The strategy worked like a charm. In fact, in mid-2004 work slowed from this client, but toward the end of 2004 there was a flurry to complete his obligation for the amount of work contracted for.
WITHOUT the Fee Agreement stipulation, it appears I would have “bought into the lie,” cut my pricing by ten percent for the work that I did do, and suffer the “lost income” of expected work that never came.
WITH the Fee Agreement stipulation, I felt good about the ten percent discount because it was a fair negotiation in which both parties fulfilled their obligations. And it brought me a lot of work toward the end of 2004 that may have come to me sometime in 2005…or quite possibly never.
Biggest Internet Marketing Blunders
Biggest Internet Marketing Blunders
The so-called free of cost web hosting services provided by many of the companies is not truly free at all. Such web portals load their advertisements over the web pages which they provide. Besides free web hosting the option of availing cheap web hosting service is also a avoidable thing certainly. The web features provided at the cheap rates and free web hosing portals are mostly outdated and not up to mark.
Only those portals companies should be signed for hosting your website which support and provide the latest versions of the software and application related to the Internet. Sometimes you may come across the hosting companies which rely on the overloaded servers and outdated Java versions. Unnecessary use of animation or graphics takes too much time to load the website on web browser. All these things spoil the Internet marketing campaign and sure failure in long term.
It is not good on the part of the Internet marketing organization to not analyze comparatively the pros and cons of the different marketing procedure. There is no use retaining the non-productive strategy for long time as it grows out as a liability.
Taking into account the comments and feedbacks which the company gets from clients and prospective customers is a great one step in the direction of a successful Internet marketing campaign. While on an other hand the deliberate neglect of the same is a sure disadvantage.
Many times most of the Internet marketing companies remain unaware of the vital importance of replying the client email. For more details go to www.tube-traffic.com Email contact is not a small factor to be overlooked; rather it may be a easy way to make a durable business relation with potential client party.
Not providing additional interactive tools which are very important in building up the business is bad for business. Internet forums and email newsletters are very important for creating a wave in favor of your Internet marketing strategies. Sending free newsletter to the existing and potential clients proved beneficial with due course of time.
The strategy of bombarding the inbox of the prospective clients with the spam email with view of promoting the Internet marketing plans is no guarantee to the success of the business. It rather proves disastrous. Spam is hated by everyone using the Internet.
One of the important thing in Internet marketing is to divert maximum Internet browsing towards the own website. This requires the advertisement to maximum possible extent. An exclusive plan for the advertisement schedule should be adopted.
Every mode of contact making on the Internet should be used for keeping intact the contacts already made with the clients and building more contacts. blogging, forum posting and social book marking are suggested for this. For more details go to wwwauto-hits-machine.com Losing the contact is no less than losing a part of your business potential.

The Biggest Keyword Myth
The Biggest Keyword Myth
The web is all about content. Finding success in the search industry is all about putting the right content in front of the right user at the right time. How do they do this? Keywords!
There is no denying that all of the popular search engines available today have come a long way from simply counting links and words on pages.
Images, videos, pdfs, flash and other rich media are also being indexed these days along with text-based pages… but the fact remains, users still search using keywords. This is why it’s important not to drop the ball when it comes to keyword strategy and optimising every element on every page.
There’s so much more to optimisation these days than simply making sure that sufficient keywords appear on a page.
Debunking the myth: there is an optimal keyword density
Be very suspicious of SEOs who tell you that the correct keyword density for a key-phrase is between 3% and 8% (or any percentage for that matter). This is simply not true.
Naturally, you cannot hope to rank for a keyword or key-phrase if it does not appear anywhere on your site. However, sheer volume of keywords is not the secret to good rankings.
Many optimisation specialists acknowledge that keyword densities play no role in how commercial search engines process text, index documents or assign weights to keywords.
Indeed, keyword density says nothing about a document’s relevance to a search. It is completely separate from a document’s quality or semantics, and therefore, relevance to a specific topic.
Search engines use complex algorithms with a number of weighted variables to calculate the rankings of sites relative to a specific search term. In fact, in any type of automated information retrieval or text-mining, a weighting system is used.
It’s actually more about weighting than repetition
This weighting is most commonly presented as a tf-idf (term frequency-inverse document frequency) weight. This is a statistical measure which evaluates how important a word is to a document or a corpus of information.
The basic principle is that the importance of any given word increases proportionally to the number of times the word appears in a document; however this is offset by the number of times the word appears in the corpus, or body of documents.
Thus, tf-idf is a fairly efficient way to rank a page’s relevance to a given user query.
Know your corpus
What does this mean for your content? Well, when considering the frequency of a keyword in a document, the best approach from a strategic point of view is to seek to be as natural as possible.
In other words, if you are trying to optimise your page for “PVC paint” – you should consider what the normal frequency of usage is for that word in the pages that rank well for a search for that phrase.
Naturally when it comes to ordering pages in the search engine results pages, the tf-idf weight is not the only variable considered in the algorithm, and aspects such as latent semantic indexing undoubtedly play a pivotal role in determining a document’s relevance to a search term too.
Regrettably, because no SEO has insights into the exact mechanics and specifics of any search engine’s algorithms, the most they can do is to strive to be the least imperfect.
Keyword strategy is still important
This does not negate the importance of having a proper keyword strategy in place – including thorough keyword research and allocation.
Segmentation is a very important part of any keyword strategy. You need to have a clear structure in place for both your human visitors and the search engine bots. Think carefully about your subject matter and build focused, relevant and original content around those areas.
The bottom line is: websites which are clearly structured consistently outrank those which are not – even if they cover similar subject matter.
A few closing points
There is far too much danger of being labelled a spammer if you stuff your content with keywords. Steer clear of black-hat SEO tactics such as hidden text and try to keep things natural.
It’s always best to keep the user in mind when writing content. Natural word usage, solid information architecture and unique content will undoubtedly pay dividends in the end.

Biggest Quarter Ever For Motorola Phones
Biggest Quarter Ever For Motorola Phones
Quarter 3 was a big time disappointment for Motorola, and Wall Street junkies are starting to wonder if the MOTORAZR frenzy is over. Motorola had made significant gains in the world’s cell phone market share, but their momentum has been fading significantly. Motorola stock is floating down in the dollar range after reaching a 52-week high of over . The way we see it, it could be do or die time for Motorola.
Mike Hughlett from the Chicago Tribune believes that Motorola may gain some momentum with the newest models that will be released for the Christmas season.
The MOTORAZR has been the hottest phone of 2006, even though it has been out for a few years. Motorola has come in with new colors and features; so many users have owned multiple Razr models. The Razr v3i and v3m have been released with some new features, and users have picked these up at lower prices than the original Razr brought.
Motorola has lowered the price of the Razr significantly. When it was released, Motorola was asking over 0 for the Razr, and you can now pick it up free if you find the right deal. The lowered price of the Razr has added to sales for Motorola, but Motorola has been left without a high-end model in their arsenal.
To fill the high-end void, Motorola has been working on a new model. The MOTOKRZR was released just in time for Christmas, and Motorola is hoping that it will be the one to trigger Motorola momentum again.
Verizon Wireless released the Krzr a few weeks ago, and priced the model at 0 with a two-year contract. Sprint is now adding the model, and there is a GSM version that will likely make it to Cingular and T-Mobile.
Speculation is divided so far, and all eyes are on Motorola for the fourth quarter, 2006. The Krzr will either show the Motorola is bound to take over the worlds biggest market share or lose the Razr led gains. Analysts are disagreeing with each other, and only the numbers will show the truth. So far, the numbers show that the Krzr will have a better first quarter than the Razr. In fact the release of the Krzr should be the biggest opening quarter ever for a new Motorola phone. Of course much of this is due to the pricing of the Krzr, which is significantly less than the opening price of the Razr.
Doubters are saying that the Krzr is just like the Razr, and users will buy the cheaper Razr at the discounted price. Those in favor say that the new model has enough upgrades over the Razr to justify buying. The Krzr does have some very significant upgrades that make it a much better phone than the Razr. This one will be left up to the consumers, who will ultimately decide whether the phone is worth the price or not.
The Krzr is going to sport a 2 mega-pixel camera, much better than the VGA resolution of the original Razr. The Krzr will record up to 25 minutes of video that can be saved in the included memory. The model is also smaller than the Razr, which will draw many to the model.
One thing is for sure; the MOTOKRZR is the phone to have for the Christmas season. Motorola has done well to finish the model before the holidays, and the timely release is definitely not a coincidence. Watch for sales of the Krzr, it should determine Motorola’s momentum for the next year or two.
Can Motorola continue to take over market share? Or is the recent slide a prediction of the future? The next few months will surely show us the truth.
Courtney writes product reviews and publications such as this one on Motorola phones and new Motorola phones.
