Do whatever you want to do outside the code, never fiddle within the ad or the search code. They know it when you do. The search code has more limitations to color and placement, but you should adhere to the rules. The code may stop working and violates the TOS.* Do not run competitive contextual text ad or search services – Never run such ads or services on the same site which offer Google Adsense competition in their field. Never try to create link structures resembling the Adsense ads. Never use other competitive search tools on the same pages which have Adsense powered Google search. They do allow affiliate or limited-text links. Update: Google has allowed you to run contextual advertising like Yahoo ads, Chitika etc provided the ads do not resemble Adsense ads.* Never launch a New Page for clicked ads by default – Adsense ads should open on the same page. You may be using a base target tag to open all links in a new window or frame by default. Correct it now as they do not want new pages opening from clicked ads.* One Account suffices for multiple websites – You do not need to create 5 accounts for 5 different websites. One account will do. If you live in the fears that if one account is closed down for violation of TOS, believe me they will close all accounts when they find out. You can keep track of clicks by using channels with real time statistics. They will automatically detect the new site and display relevant ads.* Place ads only on Content Pages – Advertisers pay only for content based ads. Content drives relevant ads. Although you might manage some clicks from error, login, registration, “thank you” or welcome pages, parking pages or pop ups, it will get you out of the program.* Do not mask ad elements – Alteration of colors and border is a facility to blend or contrast ads as per your site requirements. I have seen many sites where the URL part is of the same color as the background. While blending the ad with your site is a good idea, hiding relevant components of the ads is not allowed. Also do not block the visibility of ads by overlapping images, pop ups, tables etc.* Keep track of your content – So Adsense is not allowed on several non content pages. But it is also not allowed on several content pages too. Do not add it on web pages with MP3, Video, News Groups, and Image Results. Also exclude any pornographic, hate-related, violent, or illegal content.* Avoid excessive advertising and keyword stuffing – Although the definition of ‘excessive’ is a gray area and is subject to discretion, yet Google Adsense with correct placement, focused content and high traffic will get you much more income than other programs, so excessive advertising is not required. Keyword stuffing does target better focused ads, but overdoing it is not required.* Ensure you Language is Supported – Adsense supports “Chinese (simplified), Japanese, Danish, Korean, Dutch, Norwegian, English, Polish, Finnish, Portuguese, French, Russian, German, Spanish, Hungarian, Swedish, Italian and Turkish”. In addition, Adsense for search is available in Czech, Slovak, and Traditional Chinese. If your web pages language is not supported, do not use the code on such pages.* Do not specify Google ads as your alternate ads – Several services like Chitika eMiniMalls allow you to place alternate URLs, when a targeted paying ad cannot be displayed. This involved creating a simple html page and putting the ad to be displayed instead. Even Adsense allows an alternate URL feature instead of displaying public service ads. But never use Adsense ads as alternate URLs.* Do not confuse with adjacent images – It was a common policy to increase CTR by placing same number of images as the number of text ads, which falsely gave the impression that the text ads represented an explanation to these images. Inserting a small space or a line between the images and ads is not allowed. Make sure that the ads and images are not arranged in a way that could easily mislead or confuse your visitors.It is always better to inquire for Adsense help from the educated staff of Google Adsense. Maximizing your Google Adwords Account

Pay per click platforms like Google will help you optimize your campaign every now and then. Not that I’m head over heels for Google Adwords, but there’s no denying that they are, as of this writing, the biggest in the online market today. And compared to many of the vendors I’ve worked with, practically everybody else (with the exception of a few smaller and newer vendors) will leave you hanging by your thumbs. Yahoo Search Marketing for instance, takes weeks to respond to queries that actually require a customer service representative to address your issue.

Google on the other hand, usually assigns a team to your campaign. They will tend to change members every few months, so you’ll have to be a bit patient there, but at the very least they will accommodate questions and unique campaign requirements.

The team’s account manager will schedule an appointment with you to discuss your business and what you would like to accomplish. This will lay the groundwork and specification for your campaigns. They’ll ask about your business and what you’d like to see from your campaign – define expectations and goals. After this hour long conversation, they’ll go off for about 2 weeks and then you’ll see optimization proposals on your campaign. This of course you’ll have to approve or decline as you see fit to your campaign.

First you’ll notice a reclassification of keywords. They will group keywords according to specific product references: jeans, blue jeans, stone-washed jeans will most likely fall into one ad group. More often than not, it will be advised that keywords be grouped according to products. There will also be instances when keywords will be separated depending on how important they are to your core business. This will help with tracking and targeting from your end.

Second, keywords will be assigned a set of ads or marketing copy called ad texts. These will usually involve your unique selling points (USPs). As a general rule, they do not allow the use of comparatives or superlatives unless you have an acclaimed third party verify it and this should be mentioned on your landing page. Also relevance here is a key point. The ads should be reflect content that is also present in your landing page or homepage.

Third, there will be a suggested bid amount for each keyword. This will start at the minimum allowable bid. Quality scores will impact this minimum allowable bid. When your keyword to landing page relevance (in terms of content) is low, this minimum bid will be higher than usual. Your quality score will by classified into 3- great, OK and poor.

Setting Up Iphone With Your Microsoft Exchange Account

1.   On the iPhone, choose “Settings”, and then choose “Mail, Contacts, and Calendars”.

2.   Choose “Add Account”.

3.   Choose type “Microsoft Exchange”.

4.   Enter your email address, and then your UPN Login ID. This is the same ID that you would use to log into Outlook or Outlook Web Access.
The “Description” field can be left blank. Tap “Next”.
If you have a wildcard set up in your DNS settings, you may see an error. Please “Accept” and the error will not be displayed again.
5.   A new field for “Server” will pop up on the screen. For this, enter “webmail.apps4rent.com”,and tap “Next”.
6.   The iPhone will verify your account information and if everything has been set up correctly. If they are set correctly, you will see that “Mail”;”Contacts”; and “Calendars” are in ON Position.
7.   To ensure that your emails, calendar, and contact information will be synchronized with the “Mail”, “Contacts”, and “Calendar” apps on the iPhone, set all of the sliders to “On”, and hit “Save”.

As you may or not know, Google Adwords is now one of the fastest growing advertising formats that you will come across. First of all, let me just quickly explain what Google Adwords is – for those of you that don’t know.

Adwords is Googles version of an advertising campaign. Basically put, Google is allowing you to advertise on their website. This means that you will have access to some of the multi millions of visitors that are searching on Google on a daily basis. Which could mean thousand of hits to your website. Why Google AdWords?

One of the main reason that Google AdWords is so popular is quite simply the way it is structured. Instead of traditional advertising, where you pay for your ad no matter what. Google AdWords allows you to ONLY PAY when a visitor clicks on your ad and comes to your website.

This is the same as your advertising magazine only charging you when a reader gets in contact with you. This is very powerful stuff. It is know as Pay Per Click Advertising.How to Set up Your Google AdWords Account:

Ok, First of all you will need to go to Google website: http://adwords.google.com.

Once you have loaded the screen, look for a button that says – Sign Up Now > or Try Adwords Now >. Once clicked you will be taken to a page that asks you whether you want to set up a ‘Starter Edition’ or a ‘Standard Edition’, I personally have never used the Starter Edition. Basically, the Starter Edition is only for complete beginners. You will need to upgrade to the Standard Edition sooner or later, so why not sign up now. I’m going to take you through the Standard Edition signup.

Once inside, you will be asked to select your language, this will determine the language of the text that you will be reading. Then you will be prompted to choose your target location. This section is going to depend on your business. Lets break these down. Countries and territories:

- Your ads will appear for searches made anywhere in the selected locations.Regions and cities:

- Your ads will appear for searches made in the regions and cities you choose. (Not available in all locations.)Customised:

- Your ads will appear for searches made within a specific distance from your business or other location you choose.

So, unless you want to target your, you will select Countries & territories. Other wise, choose an option that will only show your ad in targeted area. I normally choose Countries & territories as this will get me the most amount of explosure.

The following page will ask you which countries you want your ad to appear in. This is very important, as it allows you to chose which targeted countries you want to promote to. For most of my products, I always select – UK, America, Canada, Australia & New Zealand. You can select which ever countries are best suited to you. Simple high light the country that you want, click the ‘Add’ button. Once you have selected all of your countries, simply click ‘Continue’. Writing Your Ad:

Ok, now we start getting into the heart of the campaign, we can start writing our ads. This part is so easy to do, yet is has one of the biggest impacts on your campaign. Do this right, and you will gain massive rewards, Do this wrong, and it will cost you dig time!Headline:

Make you headline stand out from the other adds. It must get the readers attention. Description Line 1:

This line normally works best as a benefit line. What are the benefits of your products or service?Description Line 2:

Create a sense of urgency! this should be a call to action line. Get them to click onto your ad. Display URL:

This is the URL of your website. How ever, you do not need to add the www. And you can also add capitalization to the first letter of each word. EXAMPLE:

Destination URL:

This is the full URL of your website address.EXAMPLE:

Your Keywords are the word that you want your ad to on appear when typed in. So, for example: If I’m promoting a free ebook give away, then I would want to bid on Keyphrase such as:

- Free Ebook Giveaway

- E- Book

- E book

As you can see, I’m bidding on different variation of the same word. This is because, you don’t know exactly what a user is going to type in to the search engines. There four, you want to cover all related keywords.

This page also offer you a chance to find more keywords. Simply type your main key phrase into the ‘Want More’ text field, click search and hey presto, You have a new list of keyphrase that you can use. Your keyphrase should be targeted to your product or service.Choosing Your Price:

One last section to complete then were done. There are three sections to this area, each of which are all based around the amount and currency of your advertising. Choose a currency:

This is straight forward – simply select the currency of your country from the drop down menu.Average Spend a day:

How much would you like to spend on a daily basis? I always set this to £1,000. Don’t worry, you will never spend this much. But by setting a high daily spend, it will ensure that your ad is show through out the day. You then control the cost via the keyword bid amount. Keyword Bid Amount:

Select how much you want to pay. Basically, what is the maximum that you want to pay for one click? This amount should be worked out based on your profit margins. The more profit that you have, the more you can afford to pay. However, a good starting point for most people is between £0.50 & £1.00.
