We all want an iPad but

The iRobot aPad is not an alternative for the iPad, but it is however something you should consider if you want a touch screen tablet pc with looks good, is very functional and also easily connectible to your pc or laptop, and best of all it won’t cost you much at all.

Over the years laptops have become very popular as the costs have come down, but also technology has developed allowing us to use them to their full potential, for example carrying the laptop into your garden whilst watching videos on youtube, not a common site 10 years ago, but it is today.

In the same way touch screen pc tablets are setting a new trend, if all you want to do is browse the web, watch movies, play games or view the odd office document just so it seems like you’re actually working.

They don’t offer great performance, but in terms of portability they just cant be beaten. Laptops and netbooks have to be either rested on a table or on your lap, which isn’t how most people like to relax, touch screen tablets however can be held in one hand whilst you touch away with the other.

But with touch tablet do I need?

Well that depends on what you’re going to use it for:

If you only to browse the web, then any entry model will do the trick, if however you want to watch flash videos online, play movies of the HDD, play games or use some cool apps then you have to make sure your touch tablet contains the latest Dual Core Rockchip processor to ensure smooth usage.

There are also 10″ touch tablets available but the price compared to the 7″ models might put you off.
