When you are planning to ask a woman out on a date there are a few things that you should keep in mind before you ask. If you keep these things in mind you will go a long way toward impressing her, and maybe even get a second date.

The first thing you should remember is to actually talk to her before you ask her out. You should find out if you have anything in common. A woman will think that you are asking her out based on her appearance alone if you have had no conversation beforehand. For some women, that might be fine. But other women will find you to be very shallow if you are perceived as only being interested in her looks.

Now remembering that you actually spoke with this woman before you should mention something that you have previously discussed. This shows her that your conversation has meant something to you. You remembered it and were thinking enough about it to mention it again. A woman will appreciate a man who actually listens to the things she says in a conversation. If she brings up the conversation make sure that you remember what she is talking about. Again, you will be letting her know that your conversation was important to you.

Above all, don’t ever ask a woman out in front of other people. You will be putting her on the spot and she will not appreciate it. She will not want to be viewed as an unkind woman so she might feel compelled to say yes because of the audience. Don’t do that to her, she will probably cancel the date later. Also, if she isn’t compelled to say yes in front of other people you will be very embarrassed at having been rejected in front of a crowd. You don’t want that, do you?

All you really have to do to impress a woman before you ask her out on a date is pay attention to her and show her that you are interested in her as a person. A man who takes the time to get to know a woman and develops interests with her has a much better chance of getting a good response to his request. Don’t be afraid to start a conversation. You will never know what you have in common until you speak. And she will never know that you are interested until you show her.
