Tablets are basically the new invention in the field of PC world. It is totally a different product from the existing PC’s. It provides with a new method of interaction between the user and the machine which is the main difference between this and previous PC’s. It consists of no mouse or keyboard like the old one but it provides with a touch screen facility. It is also composed of new features and components. Android is Google’s OS for mobile devices that is based on the ARM architecture. It is a contender to the Symbian platform, moreover, Maemo and Microsoft’s Windows Mobile, Apple’s iOS for the iPhone, and Windows Phone meant for mobile devices, all these are based on ARM architecture.

The Android operating system software consists of Java apps working on a Java based object oriented application framework, also, on top of Java core libraries working on a Dalvik virtual machine featuring JIT compilation.

Libraries which are written in C include the OpenCore media framework, surface manager, OpenGL ES 2.0 3D graphics API, SGL graphics engine, WebKit layout engine, SSL, SQLite-(RDB) relational database management system and Bionic libc. The Android operating system consists of 12 million lines of code including 3 million lines of XML, 2.8 million lines of C, and 2.1 million lines of Java.

In this competition world, China is producing these Androids installed PC’s at very low cost as compared to other companies. As, every person want the best features and gadgets within minimum cost, so there is a great demand for their product in the market.
