Aero To Accelerate Android Application Development

The mobile application development arena saw the dawn of a new mobile handset that capitalized on the rapid strides that have recently characterized the Android application development scene. The Aero is an Android handset unveiled by AT&T developed in the trusted stables of Dell. The Android smartphone has laid to rest all rumours that have floated around Dell’s launch of their first Android device.

AT&T is the sole iPhone carrier in the US and unveiled a rumoured smartphone dubbed the “Aero” which is supposedly the lightest smartphone yet. The phone is also said to feature a custom user interface that Dell created working in collaboration with AT&T. The specifications of this so called state-of-the-art device are yet unknown. The only few indistinct details available state that the Aero is a 3G Android smartphone with a 3.5 inch nHD display and 5MP camera that smoothly integrates with Flickr, Facebook, Picassa, YouTube and TwitPic on the software level, allowing the easy sharing of clips and photos. The Aero is also said to feature a plethora of social networking apps such as Facebook and is integrated into the phonebook allowing even the syncing of events to the calendar. The other bundle of joys that this handset carries is predicted to include built-in GPS and WiFi networking, in addition to a seamless browsing experience and Flash Lite that is deemed to support streaming audio and video content. Also stated is that the purchase of Aero would entitle the owner to access over 20,000 AT&T hotspots in the US.
