Problems With Acer Aspire 5050 Have

have an Acer Aspire 5050 which is about 6 months old. It used to work fine but from few days it is giving some unusual problem with it. Whenever i press the power button, the laptop boots up but the keyboard, touchpad and all the buttons on the laptop wont work. External keyboard and mouse work fine.
