Motorola – the History

The history of Motorola, Inc. can be traced back when Paul V. Galvin and Joseph E. Galvin (his brother) bought a business that deals with battery eliminator in Chicago. It was named Galvin Manufacturing Corporation in September 1928 and at present it is already recognized as one of the many American multinational companies that became a part of Fortune 100.

Going back to the history of Motorola, Inc. when it was still called Galvin Manufacturing Corporation, electronic devices and other products that run on electricity were manufactured and produced.

As for the name Motorola, the etymology is from the word ‘motor’ which means for car and the word ‘ola’ which means sound. Before Motorola mobile phones dominate the telecommunication industry, Galvin production concentrated on producing radios and receivers for vehicles until they manufactured televisions in 1947. It was also in 1947 that the company changed its name from Galvin Manufacturing to Motorola as it continues to produce communication mediums, mobile phones are yet to be introduced.

The historical influence of Motorola products was even included in the expedition to the moon when Neil Armstrong communicated from space to the earth using the Motorola Radio. And it was in 1969 that Motorola radio equipment equipped the operations of National American Space Agency or NASA.

The Motorola mobile phone was finally introduced in 1973 when the Motorola had the first demonstration of its first mobile. And for the record of behind the scenes events, the first Motorola mobile phone deals were in fact operated using radio technology and computer technology. From then on, Motorola mobile phone deals have gone smaller and smaller and more stylish and innovative until it reached our present generation.

The first ever Motorola that has small features and weighed only 88 grams was the StarTAC which until now is considered to be light among other mobile phones. The innovation and evolution of more Motorola mobile phone deals never stop and in 2000 Motorola and General Instrument Corporation has been united to develop and improve their services until they came up with Motorola v60 and then introduced it in the market. The Motorola v60 mobile phone is in fact considered as the first ever metal mobile phone that was made available to other cellular networks such as CDMA, GSM, and TDMA.

More and more Motorola mobile phone deals are introduced in the market and Cross-Technology or PoC product line extended the features and services of Motorola. The feature “push to talk” connectivity became just a minor innovation when more powerful interactivity features were introduced. Such features include the GPRS, CDMA2000, 1X, and the power of WIFi network technology.

Motorola also engage itself in expanding its connectivity through broadband connectivity and the video phone that are seen in Motorola mobile phone deals that have video phones.

As for the new line up of Motorola mobile phones that will hit the market directly to its heart, Motorola mobile phones are now comprised of W230, ROKR380, Motorola Q9h together with the newest Motorola devices software, applications, and services.

Learn The Secret Keyword Research Tips That Will Increase Your Traffic

Learn The Secret Keyword Research Tips That Will Increase Your Traffic

The keyword research tips presented here are your building blocks for getting ranked higher in the search engines. Search engine spiders scan a page in a way that makes it important to place your keywords where they will be detected and recognized as a keyword, most importantly in the text, not in the graphics, so that your article will come up when someone searches for that keyword.

What is a Keyword?

A keyword is a word that is going to be placed in your article several times. When a spider sees that you have a word placed several times in an article, it will determine that your page may be useful to users that search for such a keyword.

Over Optimizing Your Articles…not good.

It is important to note that there is also such a thing as over optimizing your articles for particular words, this is known as “keyword stuffing”. Do not overlook this useful keyword research tip. When you put the same keywords in an article too many times, a spider will detect that you are trying to trick it into placing your article high in the search engine results for that word, and will instead penalize your site by banning your site or a particular page.

What is Keyword Density?

Keyword density is how many times your keyword is placed in your article. Most use a percentage to determine how many times they will put a keyword in an article. For instance, if you have a 400 word article and want to achieve a keyword density of 5%, then you will need to have the keyword in your article exactly 20 times. This is way too much in my opinion. 2% is more reasonable. Each webmaster as their own density that they like to achieve based on past results. As long as you don’t over optimize and you are making good profit from your rankings, then you can choose whatever keyword density you like. The best keyword research tip here is to use your keywords in a natural way. You don’t want your readers to stop reading your articles halfway through it because they feel bored by a repetitious litany of the same keyword phrase.

The Right Density

No matter what exact density you choose, it is important to place keywords in a way that they are more prominent in the beginning and the end of your article. Having the right keyword density in your article makes it more likely that your article will rise in the search engine results and be seen by more web surfers.

Keyword Density – How Much is Too Much?

Keyword Density – How Much is Too Much?

Before indulging in a discussion of how much density of keywords should a webpage ideally contain, it is necessary to take a look at what a keyword is? A keyword is a word that the user searches for when using the search engine. Keywords are the function of the search engines. The ratio of the keyword to the total number of words appearing on the web page is known as the keyword density. One of the most critical aspects of search engine optimization, it can be used as a factor in determining whether a web page is relevant for a specified keyword or keyword phrase. Almost all the search engine algorithms give importance, in varying degrees, to the number of times a keyword appears on a web page. Each search engine is marked by a different calculation of keywords. While some allow a large keyword density on the webpage, others like Google place a limit on it. In order to avoid search spamming through keyword stuffing, search engines also implement measures other than keyword density.

Ideal keyword density

There is much talk about the ideal keyword density of a web page. The bottomline here is that there is no thumb rule regarding the ideal keyword density in a website, mainly because the search engines change their algorithms frequently. Also, different search engines allow a different keyword density. So, while a more than 2% keyword density is considered spamming by Google, MSN and Yahoo allow a liberal 5% keyword density in a web page. While some search engines attach more importance to keywords in your title, meta tags and web copy, Google – the most important search engine, searches for keywords in your web page text.

Also the ideal keyword density changes with the type of keywords. When the keyword is highly competitive, the website owner should focus on not more than one word per page. Pages with low competitive keywords should ideally focus upon two or three keywords per page. More often than not, search terms comprise of moderately competitive keywords. Such keywords must be used on the home page, and must be linked with internal supporting pages.

Ideal keyword density is more of a range than a figure. A 1% – 7% keyword density is what any web page should aim for. A 1% keyword density is achieved by inserting a keyword once in every 100 words of text, and so on. But a keyword used once in every thousand words would mean a watered down keyword density, which, in turn, will mar the chances of your website figuring high in the search engine result pages.

Keyword optimization

For a search engine to rank your web site highly, focus on one or two keywords per page. This will allow the spiders to be convinced of the relevance of your page content to the keyword. Keeping a one-keyword-per-page policy is the best bet. Writing a minimum of 250 words creates enough content to naturally include a good keyword density.

All this stuff about keyword density is effective in search engine optimization only for keywords that are less than highly competitive. Fiercely competitive keyword terms such as ‘Search Engine Optimization’ cannot assure a good ranking with search engines, even with keyword density as high as 60%. This goes on to show that search engines place more importance on other elements such as inbound links or anchor texts. To improve search engine ranking, your keyword density must not be too high or too low.

Another view

While many search engine optimizers swear by this aspect of search engine optimization to improve rankings, many others are quick to refute this theory, pointing out the importance of writing for the visitors instead of search engines. Citing the rankings of web pages with a keyword density as high as 20% alongside the same of web pages with a keyword density of 2%, these experts prove their point. A good ranking, according to them, is the consequence of relevant content focusing on the theme of your website, which is anyways bound to include the keyword. Losing visitors can be attributed to forced write ups that are deliberately keyword stuffed. The use of similar words instead of the same keyword again and again will increase your article’s credibility. The search engines too, have started focusing more on semantic connection between words instead of simply relying on keyword density, in their endeavor to curb spamming.

Conclusion

While it cannot be denied that keyword density is one of the aspects of search engine optimization, it is definitely not the only factor. Losing your sleep over achieving the exact keyword density in your web pages won’t help your rankings much. Writing meaningful, relevant content, without bothering about the keyword density, is the key to good ranking.

Guide to replace Dell XPS M140 keyboard

Guide to replace Dell XPS M140 keyboard

NOTICE:
1. To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such as the back panel) on the computer.
2. The key caps on the keyboard are fragile, easily dislodged, and time-consuming to replace. Exercise care when removing and handling the keyboard.
3. Before securing the latch on the system board connector, ensure that the keyboard connector is seated and the tabs on the connector are properly aligned with the slots on the system board connector. Failure to align the tabs could result in a malfunction of the computer or damage to the cable and/or the cable connector.
In this article, I will explain how to replace Dell XPS M140 keyboard (http://www.papatek.com/Dell-Keyboard/Dell-XPS-M140-keyboard.html ). It’s possible that my guide will work for some other Dell tablets. If this guide works for you, please mention the notebook model in the comments below.
Do not forget to turn off the notebook and remove the laptop battery before you start taking it apart. Remove six screws securing the Dell laptop keyboard. One of the screws I marked in red because it’s hidden under the rubber screw seal. You can remove the screw seal with a sharp object.
Insert a small flat head screwdriver between the Dell XPS M140 keyboard and notebook base and lift up the laptop keyboard. You’ll find a few small plastic latches securing the Dell laptop keyboard on the top and both sides. Here’s one of them above the F11 key. Carefully lift up the laptop keyboard and force it through the latches. When the Dell XPS M140 keyboard is released, you can access connectors underneath.
This laptop keyboard has two cables connected to the motherboard. I marked the pointing stick cable, you’ll have to disconnect this one first.
1. Unlock the connector by moving the white clip to the direction shown by two arrows. You have to move the clip about 1-2 millimeters, not more. The clip must stay attached to the connector base.
2. Pull the cable from the connector.
Turn the Dell XPS M140 keyboard upside down and place it on the palm rest. Now you can access the second cable.
Again, before you can pull the cable you have to unlock the connector. Open the locking clip with your fingernail. The clip opens at a 90 degree angle. Now the cable is released and you can pull it from the connector.
Finally, you can remove the Dell XPS M140 keyboard and replace it with a new one if needed. Need a new Dell laptop keyboard for your Dell laptop? Or if you are looking for other laptop accessories information? Find a new one on http://www.papatek.com

KEYWORD DENSITY TOOL

KEYWORD DENSITY TOOL

Using a keyword density tool is obviously important for you to know how many times your keyword is showing inside the body of your text. Usually you want that to be around 1% and can be easily found out simply by using the tools available to you for free at article directories. Once you have pasted the body of your article inside the submission form, the system automatically tells you the density, if your article has too many keywords.

But the real magic of using a keyword density tool happens when you combine those results with the profit making information you get with a great keyword research tool. Knowing keyword density and the density of the keywords in your competitors content is a one-two punch and you can use that to propel your campaigns to the front page of Google where all the traffic is. If you can monitor your competition, you can demolish them with a steamrolling campaign that will pummel their measly little efforts into he ditches of internet marketing.

Once you have the info about your own content from the keyword density tool you begin to systematically rip apart your competitors by going to your research tool for the coup de gras. Combine that information with how many ArticleBases, Squidoos, Hubpages and other content platforms they might use by seeking them out with your new tool. Also, you can use it for finding your competitors in Pay Per Click and the keywords they are using there.

Your keyword density tool will provide you with the optimal number of times in your copy that keyword appears and make sure you are not spamming the system. While mentioning enough times your keyword, mentioning that keyword too much will turn off the user and thereby the king of search, the mighty Google. Spam is never warranted nor welcome so be sure to use the keywords wisely and keep it at around 1%.

The keyword density tools you find for free online should be enough to keep you straight. Combine this with a great keyword research tool and you will have many opportunities to knock the little guys around and take their lunch money. Well, that’s not cool but we are all here to make money right?

Get serious and do what it takes to be successful.

Amazon Squares Up To Apple: Kindle Vs Ipad

Amazon Squares Up To Apple: Kindle Vs Ipad

It had to happen.  Apple’s foray into the eBook market with its iPad had to get a reaction from Amazon, but nobody quite expected the severity of this reaction. Amazon has responded amazingly strongly and in several different ways.

1.  Kindle Apps

Prior to the iPad launch, Amazon made the announcement of the opening of an applications store, and an invitation for developers to come up with apps in the same way that they did for the iPhone and the iPad. This was an apparent attempt to offer the Kindle as a genuine competitor to the iPad.

Without some other use of the Kindle other than as a dedicated e-reader, Amazon knew that it was destined to suffer a knock-out blow from Apple. It is not easy to fight Apple’s commercial and financial resources, but it can be done given the right strategy. One tactic of that strategy is to emulate what Apple has achieved in the versatility of their products, and by developing applications for the Kindle, Amazon is doing that: and taking the first step on the road to genuine multimedia capability for the Kindle.

This might conceivably be the beginning of a larger war between the two giants, involving not only eBooks, but also music, movies and all the other miscellaneous applications that have come to be associate with the iPhone and, no doubt, the iPad.

2.  DRM Drop-Out

Amazon made DRM optional for publishers. With iBooks locked by FairPlay, Amazon’s DRM opt-out means that users can port their eBooks to other e-readers. DRM is now optional for publishers, and while that is not a great advance for the majority of Kindle owners, it is for the smaller publishers who will now have more of an incentive to market the Kindle. It is one more in the eye for Apple, and another small advantage that Amazon is trying to gain over the iPad. According to the article “An Introduction to Popular E-book File Formats“, with its own Digital Rights Management structure AZW format protects the e-book publishers and authors from possible piracy and is loosely based on Mobipocket’s popular MOBI file format (Digital Book Readers).

3.  Price Maintenance

Amazon took steps to protect the low prices of Kindle eBooks by maintaining a maximum price of .99 on all its publications. It is the only e-reader that does not allow publishers to apply higher pricing, and it responded to Macmillan’s pressure by removing all that publishers products from its virtual library. Yes, Amazon has stated that these will be reinstated, but that has yet to happen, and Macmillan meantime has been subject to insults from Amazon on public forums.

This move was likely made in response to criticism that eBooks are too expensive in relation to their production costs and overheads. By sustaining a price ceiling of .99, Amazons maintains a level of competitiveness that other e-readers will find it hard to match, including Apple.

4. Touchco Acquisition

Each of the above three will have an influence on the outcome of the bout between Amazon and Apple, but much more significant is Amazon’s acquisition of Touchco, the e-paper and touchscreen technology firm. This appears to be Amazon’s ace in the hole, and the acquisition must have come as shock and a blow to Apple.

Touchco had been working on a true multi-touch screen to work with e-paper that enables unlimited simultaneous touches to be detected. Combined with the Mirasol multi-color technology on e-paper, this offers Amazon the ability to create a multi-touch color tablet device that could very easily not only compete with the iPad, but also exceed its technological capability. It is definitely a big one in Apple’s eye, and the gloves are definitely off now.

The acquisition took place very secretively and quietly, and nobody had an inclination of what was going on.  It is hard to believe that Apple was unaware of it, but it sure seems that way. Round 1 might have been Apple’s, but Amazon has certainly won rounds 2, 3 and 4, although knowing Apple’s resilience and resources, certainly not with knockout blows.

The Touchco technology might have been used with e-paper to develop cell phones, music players and a whole host of possible applications, but that is now lost in Amazon’s fight with Apple for the e-reader market. Sometimes it is time for corporations to focus on their core business, because this type of infighting almost invariably ends up with no winners and the public the losers.

However, what can we look for in the near future?  Likely an expansion of the Kindle, or a variant, as an iPad competitor, and almost certainly the demise of the clunky E Ink and the development of a sleeker display medium. Watch this space and get ready for round 5, because Apple will certainly not take this lying down!
