Seo & Web Marketing With Google Buzz

The Buzz That Is Google Buzz

Earlier this week, Google launch its latest foray into social networking, the Google Buzz. It seems to be generating quite a buzz among web users, and will probably be most successful social attempt yet from Google. While a lot has been covered about the launch, critics, privacy issues, and the fix, little has been discussed about the implications to webmasters and web marketers.

Emergence of social bookmarking has revolutionized web marketing in more than one ways, starting with early social bookmarking for geeks such as Digg and to Facebook and Twitter. Will Google Buzz makes any dent to Facebook and Twitter, the currently preferred choices of web marketers?

I do think so. This might be a little biased, since I am a huge fan of Google and everything the company do, but I believe the Google Buzz will be very successful.

Now, just 2 days into launching, there are already more than 9 million posts and comments. Obviously, this is an additional avenue for promoting whatever product and services you have, including your websites. Google Buzz will also allow webmasters to interact with site visitors in a way that Twitter can not; visitors can comments your post in a Facebook-style conversation.
