If you have ever signed up for more information or a newsletter and received a string of letters then you have witnessed how an autoresponder works. Using an autoresponder for email online marketing just makes sense.
An autoresponder is software that allows you to send emails to people automatically. It is not used for spamming but to send to your list of prospects. You probably know how important a list is. All the gurus say “the money is in the list” and they are correct. The more people you have on your list, the more sales you can make.

You can set up an autoresponder to send pre-written emails to your list of prospects. The letters should be informative and not screaming “buy my product”. If you give people information they can use, they will learn to trust you; it helps build your credibility. Most people need at least 7- 12 letters before they are confident enough to purchase.
Set up a campaign in your autoresponder, give it a name and add your letters. As people join your list, just put their name and email address in the autoresponder and set it up for each letter to go out every 2 days. Your prospects will receive a letter from you for over 2 weeks. These letters will automatically keep you in front of potential customers. They are a constant reminder of the benefits of your product.
The benefits of using an autoresponder for email online marketing far outweigh the time it takes to set up the campaign. You will have to create the letters and set them up in the autoresponder but after that, it is all automatic.

The results demonstrate that marketers are at risk of alienating their target audience and are damaging their chances of making sales by swamping potential customers with banner ads and pop-ups.
There is also anecdotal evidence that there is growing distaste among consumers regarding networking sites using their details for marketing purposes.
Marketers are becoming more and more interested in using social networking websites as an effective marketing tool to target specific types of consumer, however consumers felt their privacy was being undermined and that they were being targeted by irrelevant marketing. We advised companies to think of ways of connecting with customers in a less obtrusive manner.
It is interesting to note that, among Marketing people, Direct Marketing is considered the most effective technique, placing it atop the Marketing Effectiveness Ranking.

How is keyword relevancy related to your website marketing?
In a big way Sir, if you had to ask me objectively! The introduction may be a bit of an exaggeration, but keyword relevancy is often something that most webmasters disregard conveniently. Only for them to find out later that their page ranks pathetically, at least in terms of page quality! That is how important it is for webmasters to use relevant keywords on their webpage.
Let me give you an example for me to illustrate why keyword relevancy is so important and a lot of keyword research needs to be done even before you could add the meta keywords.
Assume that website A talks of selling electronics items, more specifically LCDs and Digital cameras. I would do a quick keyword search using the keyword search tool, https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal.
Almost quickly, the list of keywords I could use in the webpage would be
Electronics items
Electronics items for sale
Electronic items
Electronics closeouts
And some more…
Now, these are only some of the keywords I would have preferred to use due to their keyword relevancy. The next thing I would have to do is write the content according to these keywords, which will take me a step closer to achieve good page rank with Google.
Take the same website and with the same keyword research tool, how if I would have used the following keywords
Electronics
Wholesale items
Wholesale electronics
Do you know what will happen here? Simple – The meaning of your page would change. In essence, you would have written the web content looking at the previous keywords, but here since the keywords are different, the content would be an absolute mess.
Look – You might still get traffic because the keywords just mentioned above are high traffic keywords. But, the problem is – You would not help the Google Page rank at all. In fact, don’t be surprised if your page gets ranked low in Google.
Conclusion –
Keyword relevancy is probably the most important aspect in your webpage. If your meta keywords are nowhere related to your web content, the quality of the page would be low. And most of you would know that a bad quality web page may not survive for long! On the other hand, a good quality web page would pull in traffic eventually, even if it happens with time.

How do you do it? Go to either Blogger.com (https://www.blogger.com/start) or Wordpress (http://wordpress.com/signup/) and sign up. What could be easier? Once you choose, spend a little time learning about the site by posting your first blog post about alomst anything you want (it really doesn’t matter what). Maybe start with something about you and why you have this blog. Posting your first blog post will help you get accustom to the site, its templates and other features. Just do it, you can’t hurt anything.
Like everything, blogging has its own unique language, so here are a few simple terms you’ll want to be familiar with:
1) Pinging – On the web there are aggregators or collectors of info about blogs being updated. Pinging is the action you or your blog takes to notify the aggregators you just completed an update. This is the single feature that makes possible the creation of targeted traffic almost immediately to your blog.
2) Trackback – This is link that is used you post in your blog something about someone else’s blog post of a related item. It will cause your blog post to appear in their “trackback” section. It is unique to Wordpress blogs.
3) Permalink – Permalink means permanent link, and is the URL (uniform resource locator) that can be used to send people directly to the post in your blog.
So, if you don’t have a blog, just go to one of the sites above and get started. Play with the features included and get the feel of blogging.
