How Do You Remove Your Name From A Google Search?

There is information that i am not proud of that keeps popping up when i search my name in google. Is there anyway that i can have this removed or moved to a different page on Google. I go in touch with the website owner who was not helpful at all but this content is upsetting my family and I so much.

Try contacting google or try reporting those pages to google and tell them it contains private material that should not be left hanging around the internet. However things are not that easy these days. See here for more: http://www.reputationdefender.com/viewPr…

Google only indexes and caches content on other websites. they will not remove webpages unless you verify that you own the website.
If the content is blogs, facebook, myspace, or webpages that you create through a service. simply login and replace or delete the content.
If others posted harmful material, you’ll have to contact those people, or try to convicne the website to remove the content. Mostly people can say whatever they want about you.
another alternative, is to publish website your prefer to show up. say myspace and facebook, linkedin and personal websites. then get your friends to link their pages. eventual these good sites might appear ahead of the bad ones in google results.

It’s a difficult issue. I understand both sides of the argument because of how fairly you have presented them here. I look forward to your updates on the subject.

The blog doesn’t load correctly under Ie6. I think there is a problem with CSS.

I would appreciate more visual materials, to make your blog more attractive, but your writing style really compensates it. But there is always place for improvement
