I Own My Own Business In Freelance Web-dev. What Do I Need To Know About Running A Small Business?

I recently started my own small business in freelance web-development and custom PC design. (I have one client) I know very little about owning a small business, such as what taxes to file, advertising…etc, I plan to take a course on how to market my own business.
Specifically what else should I know about running this little venture?
I want to know details on how I can max. my profits, keep good records for filing taxes. What to charge for services…etc
Any documentation on running a small business in general would be very helpful. Any documentation on running a business similar to mine would be GREAT!

You would probably want some kind of consultant to talk to about the taxes you’re going to have to file, and ways you can save on them and such. Check out the Tax Club http://www.thetaxclub.net/about-the-tax-…
